Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bio from rescuer: Please contact directly if you can assist with this sweet girl <3 Hello. This is Roxy. She goes by Roxy, Rox, or her favorite, ROXER! We took her in Xmas eve last minute, from her owner of 10+ years, who was going to put her down if he didn’t find a home due to “not having time for her anymore.” She is 13/14 years old. Boxer mix. She has a growth on her leg that her prev owner said was non cancerous and didn’t need to be removed, but it affects her walking to where she has a limp. She is such a sweet girl and would do good in a home w older or less hyper dogs. Or at least trained dogs! she just needs a good home! She’s still playful and very energetic! She enjoys lots of cuddles! Grew up around kids, dogs, and cats! ? She is also spayed and housebroken! She loves loves loves lots of cookies (aka dog treats haha). Located in Saginaw MI Please help me find this girl a great forever home. Story
Well, just look at miss pouty pout and her snaggle tooth! Lilly is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs 42 pounds. Meet Lilly, a ray of sunshine in the form of a furry friend, she is just an affectionate sweetie who's hoping to find her forever family! Lilly has such a soft personality and is always seeking love and attention from her favorite people. She already knows the "sit" and "down" commands and as you can see from her pictures, offers the most adorable pout when she wants something - it's simply irresistible! As she can be a little hand-shy and submissive, Lilly is looking for an adopter who can provide a structured environment to help build her confidence. Lilly really looks to you for reassurance, direction and guidance. She will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old with her low confidence. Could you be the one to give this sweet girl the love she needs? Lilly would love it if you came to meet her. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Lilly would love to meet them. She has a loose and wiggly approach with other dogs with a paw greeting, but she mostly wants attention from the people in the room. If you are interested in Lilly and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Story
Hi! This is Teddy! He is approximately 2 to 3 years old. He is very high energy and a love bug. He appears to be dog friendly. He's broken out of my yard to play with the neighbors dog. I have to rehome him because my work schedule is getting worse. I work 6 days a week and he's in his kennel for 12 to 14 hours a day normally. I just want better for him (he deserves it). He is not up to date on his shots or neutered although I would be willing to help with that if it would help you. I just want him to be happy and safe. He is a Pitt/Boxer mix (that's what I was told.

Story
Sweet Princess was on her own outside for weeks before we could catch her. She is heartworm positive. Would you be willing to host this pretty pitty girl for a few months while she goes through her heartworm treatment? This sweet pup needs a foster home! Princess is heartworm positive and will be treated by our rescue. Princess is well behaved and housetrained. She has been gentle with cats and calm around other dogs. She’s eager to please and wants to be near humans more than anything else. She loves car rides and meeting new people. She's just learning to play, and a calm home environment will allow her the rest and relaxation she needs as she undergoes this treatment. If you live in the Detroit area within 30 minutes of Warren and have room in your heart to foster this amazing pup, please contact us.
