Kevy would do best in a home with no children.Could he do well with other dogs? We believe he would do best as the only dog in the home.Has this dog lived with cats? Unknown. [The Lycoming County SPCA does not “cat test” dogs per the Association of Shelter Veterinarian’s Guidelines for Standards of Care in Animal Shelters.]---Condensed Staff Assessment Notes: Kevy is an energetic and well-mannered boy who knows what he wants and goes after it. When on a leash, he can pull strongly to reach his goals, demonstrating his focus and determination. While he responds well to redirection, he may need some time to regain his composure afterward. Kevy has clear preferences regarding his personal space—both with people and other dogs—which reflects his developing social skills. He thrives on positive experiences with new items and individuals, which help him grow more comfortable in different situations. Kevy prefers to establish a relationship before accepting pets and affection, particularly from unfamiliar people.---For more resources to help with any step of your adoption journey go to: https://go.petadoptiongateway.com/LycomingDT

Story
"Howdy! I'm Berkeley! I am a goofy 5 year old female Boxer. I came to the rescue from a farm, and I've quickly realized that the house is the place to be! I am happy, silly, sweet, and full of personality! I love to meet new people and I'm a total cuddle bug. I love to go for walks and explore the trails near my foster home. I walk well on a leash. I rarely pull and when I do, I respond perfectly to a gentle reminder to walk with my foster mom. I absolutely LOVE to race around the fenced yard at max speed! I get the zoomies and go as fast as I can, so watch out for the Berkeley tornado coming through! I am guilty of knocking over my doggy foster brother, good thing he is young and spry and can (usually) keep up with me! I like toys and playing with other dogs! Soft beds are my favorite place to curl up. When I'm done running and playing, I take good long naps by the fireplace. While I love to rip and race though the yard, I am very calm and well-behaved in the house. I do not get rowdy indoors, I save it all up for outside! Most of my day I can be found snoozing under the big window in my foster home. I am a proud member of the neighborhood watch, and that is my favorite way to pass the time! I am nearly potty trained. I always go when I'm taken outside, and I never have accidents in my crate. I will need some help adjusting to the new routine in a forever home, but with a little guidance I will be fully potty trained in no time. I give obvious signals when I need to potty, by going to the front door and pacing while looking back at my foster mom. I have adapted to life in a home very well, and I am so excited to get adopted by my forever family!!" Berkeley is being fostered in Southern Lancaster County and interested adopters must come to her foster home twice. The first visit is a meet and greet with all the members of the household including existing dogs in the home. The second visit is to take her home. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for heartworm. She is routinely treated with parasite preventatives. Go online to www.zoeshouserescue.com and complete an adoption application! We do not always receive applications submitted through adoptapet or petfinder. Story
Hello there! I’m called “Bumble”. You know, the Gigantic, white furred Yeti with long pointed fangs in the movie “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer”! NO, just Kidding! I am Bumble, BUT a lover of all things. Young, old, humans, other dogs and even cats! I’m a humble boy who loves to play, fetch, eager to please and even tempered! Shy at first when out of my comfort zone, I do warm up quick and give/take affection freely. At just 1 year old, about 60#, I do have a lot to learn. Having been 1 of “7” turned into a shelter at a young age, we stayed huddled close for strength. Scared and unsure of the future, Molly’s Place stepped in and brought us to rescue. Although my sisters, “4”, have been adopted, we “3” boys are still looking for just the right home to call our own. I’ve heard “Good things come to those that wait!” Well, I know there is a plan for my future and I’m a patient boy in nature yet ready anytime to meet my special family. Looking at my brothers, I must say I am the MOST HANSOME of the 3! Snowy white, wiry hair around my face, deep dark expressive eyes, black button nose and a smile that can light up the night when playing and romping. Being “Goofy” comes natural to me, but thought to be Boxer/Border Terrier mix, I do have intelligence and brain power to learn be trained. No fenced in yard required nor prior dog experience required, just down and dirty time, Love to give and experiences to allow me to be the best I can be. How about meeting. I’m Bumble, and I’ll “Bee” all you want me to “Bee” and more! To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash.
