Story
Buddy is the happiest, friendliest, cuddliest guy you'll find anywhere around. He ended up in a local shelter and was running out of time, but thanks to some tireless networking, Buddy ended up in our care. He's a compact guy, weighing in at 46 pounds, and already knows basic commands like sit and paw. He is crate and house trained. Buddy loves other dogs, cats, and kids. He would be a wonderful companion to someone who enjoys being outside for walks and hikes. Buddy has gotten the all-clear at the vet, is ready to travel, and would love to find his forever family very soon. If you're interested in welcoming me or any of my delightful Funny Farm companions into your home, kindly visit ffpets.org. There, you can find information about our Tennessee-based rescue, and gain insights into the adoption process! Buddy's adoption fee is $325, with an additional $200 required for northern transportation if needed. Local transportation can be provided at no cost within 100 miles of Jackson, TN. Please note that at the moment, this adorable pet is in the care of a foster home in Tennessee but will be lovingly transported to your location once the adoption process is successfully completed. For details on meeting locations and transport arrangements, simply click on the "Transport" tab at ffpets.org. We strongly encourage you to thoroughly review all transport-related information before submitting your adoption application.

Story
"Melody is a lovely girl with lots of love to give. She is friendly, affectionate, loyal, playful, smart, curious, funny, athletic and quiet all in one! She is a very dignified dog but can be a bit of a couch potato too, and she definitely loves her doggie kisses. Melody is a lovely, unique girl and I'm sure she will bring lots of joy to her new owners. She came into rescue with her 4 babies and was a wonderful mom. She just completed heartworm treatment and is a happy girl. She gets along with other dogs but would love to be the only dog in the home so that she can receive all the love and attention from her new family. She is a very special girl and all she needs if to find the right home." Melody is two and a half years old, weighs 52#, is spayed, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is 400.00

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. TB This boy is precious! His foster mom says “He’s just the perfect little puppy. I can’t say enough good about him.” Good with cats, dogs, and kids!!! Also from his foster mom “We’re currently fostering TB aka Charles Wallace, and I call him “Charlie”, but with the accent of “Charlie bit my finger!” I’m sorry to my other foster pups, but he’s the best one yet ” But Charlie didn’t really bite any one’s finger, he’s a good boy! He is currently about 6-7 months old, and weighs about 45 lbs. He will probably mature to be around 60 lbs. We are unsure of his breed but maybe a Boxer mix? He is a friendly, good boy. He is good with dogs, cats, and kids. He does well with all of them. He’s the biggest lap dog and is happiest laying on, or near you. At bedtime he snuggles up right next to you to keep you warm. His first foster home had a doggy door which he used like a pro; his new foster home does not have a doggy door so he’s had a few accidents but he’ll figure that out in no time! He may need some work with leash manners and as most 6 mo old puppies, he would benefit from some basic training. He is a smart boy and eager to learn. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. In New England. To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message us or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. Walter is at Paws in Prison learning all kinds of good things!!   Pay attention now…Walter is ready to speak. We don’t know exactly what he wants to say, but we bet it has something to do with the fact that you haven’t adopted him yet. He’ll probably ask what the holdup is and whether you realize that he has some spots, perfect eyeliner and sits like a champ. His personality is great and his thinking skills are sharp. He accepts hugs, belly rubs and snuggles. Plus, he’s friendly, cute and makes champion level expressions. He’s an 8-month-old, 38-pound mix. His heritage is unknown. And he’s a hoot and a half. So yeah, that’s probably what he wants to talk about. You should listen. He’s telling the truth! Walter is good with other dogs. He is fully vetted. *Walter has a few more weeks at Paws In Prison and then he will need a place to go. Let’s find him a home!! Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.6/3/24 AkiraI'm a little late welcoming Akira to rescue because she's actually been with us for a little while. I finally got to meet her today and what a pleasant surprise! Photos do nothing to show how adorable and tiny she is. She is maybe 20 lbs. See the photo of her with the cat- shes not much bigger than him. Akira was dumped near tractor supply in Benton, AR a while back. She ran around the area, evading people for months. She was just scared to death. But one of our awesome volunteers was able to trap her a few weeks back. After she got past the initial fear of being trapped, she just gave in. And now her personality is really shining! This tiny girl is so friendly and sweet! Good with other dogs, good with kids but gets a little nervous with the toddler who visits, so older kids would probably be best. Great with cats as well! At about 2 years old, she is done growing and is about 20 bs. She is now fully vetted and heartworm negative.Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Story
Randy is a 15 week old boxer mix.he was found as a stray and taken into foster care to get healthy and ready for his forever home. Randy is dog kid and cat friendly.  He is up to date on vaccines butt isn't neutered yet due to being under weight in when he came in.  Randy has put on weight and is ready for his forever home finally.  He will leave with a neuter contract unless we can get him done prior to transport . Right now in Texas most vets are booking weeks to months out. Randy is still working on house breaking but isn't fully there yet. ##1405545##
