Story
Tony is very urgent. He is a really great dog just has high energy and needs more to life than a kennel. He has lived with kids previously and done well but he is so active that he may knock them over. He was found as a stray a couple years ago and now the family couldn't handle him. He needs an active home and to be the only pet.

Story
Are you one to stop and smell the roses? If so, Rosie is looking for a home with someone who enjoys the finer things in life too! Rosie is a 2 year old, cane corse/boxer mix who was brought to ARC when her previous owners could no longer care for her. We have helped Rosie settled in here at the shelter, but we know she would do so much better somewhere where she can run around and roll in the grass all day. Her zoomies are the best thing about her- and she’d LOVE to show them off for you! She has the biggest smile which means her choppers are perfect at catching things mid air and if its not a toy you`re throwing her way make sure it is a treat because she loves those just as much. Rosie enjoys going for walks and is learning to walk properly on a leash. She has been such a sweet girl to everyone she has met so far and would love to find a home where she can be loved and cared for. Rosie is open to meeting other dogs (a meet and greet would be required at our shelter for any canine siblings, *NO CATS*). Rosie is spayed, microchipped & up to date on all vaccinations. If interested in adopting Rosie, please go to our website: www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form (it can be located under the ‘adoptable dogs’ section).

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Dex is a six year old, reverse brindle AKC registered male Boxer.  He is a real beauty weighing in at 70 pounds of solid muscle.  This handsome guy is a high energy, strong dog that is clean in the house and is not destructive.   Dex has lived with kids, cats, and now is living with dogs.  There is not a mean bone in his body, but he is a dog that doesn’t know his own strength and will require slow introductions to other canines.  He acts like a much younger dog than his age reflects. Dex would benefit greatly from obedience classes and will need someone who is physically able to walk him.  He loves being outdoors and is great on a hike.  Exercise will be an important component of helping him to be successful in his new home.  However, if you are new to a brachycephalic breed (flattened face/nose), please be aware that these funny, happy, energetic dogs overheat easily in the heat of summer and don't make good running partners. One of the nice things about this handsome dog is that he was raised as part of a family since puppyhood.  Dex is being re-homed due to a change in the family’s circumstances and is in no way a fault of his own.   If you think you have the time and energy to help this boy reach his full potential and to become your pride and joy, apply to Haven to Home Canine Rescue to be considered.  He is being fostered in Northumberland, PA. 17857.  Dex is UTD on vaccines, on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, microchipped and neutered.  He is ready to love! Fun Facts:  If you are not careful, Dex will feel free to step into the bathtub with you!  He also loves being squirted with the hose, opening up his big ole’ mug and slurping up the cold water with his extra large tongue.  The same tongue he uses to give anyone and everyone big exuberant kisses!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.  We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.  Thank you!July 13, 2026, 10:35 pm

Story
Welcome Sewanee to PK! This 6-year-old Boxer weighs about 82 pounds and came to us from another rescue. Sewanee is a very friendly, well-mannered guy who seems ready to settle right into family life. He walks nicely on leash, knows his basic commands, and keeps his kennel clean, showing that he’s already got a great foundation of good manners. Sewanee is open to meeting other dogs, can be cat tested if needed, and would likely do very well in a home with kids. With his gentle personality and easygoing nature, he seems like the kind of dog who would make an excellent family companion. Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Peaceable Kingdom, PA Kennel License #04131, 1049 MacArthur Rd., Whitehall, PA 18052. July 15, 2026, 10:11 am
