Story
Logan is 5 years old and has been with our family since we adopted him at 3 months old. He is loving, playful, and energetic, and needs an owner that has time to play with him and take him for walks. Our schedules have become hectic and our yard is much smaller now than when we first got him. He gets along well with other dogs, and is protective of his humans. He may take some time to warm up to new people.

Story
Meet Red –  A True Soul Dog and Gentleman “Some dogs come into your life, and some dogs become your life. A soul dog is never just a pet—they are a part of you that finally made it home.” As his foster, I truly believe Red is one of those soul dogs, just looking for his true person. Red has faced challenges in life, but none of this was ever his fault. His previous family struggled to care for him consistently, yet he remained loyal, kind, and always there for them. Now he’s ready for a stable, loving forever home. Red is an 8-year-old, 86-pound Boxer mix with a honey-brown coat, soulful brown eyes, a striking white blaze and chest, and four white socks. He’s a gentle giant—loyal, smart, loving, and full of heart. Red is crate and house trained, walks perfectly on leash, knows sit and shake with both paws, rides beautifully in the car, and has excellent house manners. He is fantastic with kids, other dogs, and cats, he loves snuggles, Netflix marathons, calm walks when the weather is nice, and relaxing indoors on a cozy bed. Red is a true companion who simply loves being near you. Red deserves a home where he will be cherished as a full indoor family member, treated with love, patience, and stability. He is ready to give his whole heart to the family lucky enough to adopt him. About Red: 8 years old Boxer mix Neutered, microchipped, UTD on vaccines  Heartworm negative House & crate trained Kid-friendly Dog and Cat-friendly Great on leash Loves fetch, car rides, and cuddles Red's adoption fee is $200, covering his neuter, vaccinations, dewormer, first dose of heartworm prevention, and microchip. Story
Hutch is a shy boy that takes a minute to trust and to warm up to strangers. As you can see from his photos, once he has a minute, he is just a lover! He gets along great with other dogs, is house, crate and leash trained. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Star came to us along with her litter of pups from an old man's house where she got very little attention much less food. He said she was a stray but was not able to care for her properly, thus a litter of unwanted pups! A pizza delivery guy alerted us to her plight and we came to help. She is very enthusiastic and active and loves to run! After she came to the rescue, she lived with Luke a 5 months old pup for a while and they loved to run and play. He has now been adopted. She is a great size- about 45 lbs and could be a great running partner. We think she could also be a great couch potato given some time. Her breed is a little unknown. She is small for a Boxer so we are thinking something smaller might be mixed in- maybe JR Terrier? We hope you will consider adding STAR to your family soon. She now walks on a leash and is learning some basic manners. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue
