Story
Logan is 5 years old and has been with our family since we adopted him at 3 mother’s old. He is loving, playful, and energetic, and needs an owner that has time to play with him and take him for walks. Our schedules have become hectic, and our yard is much smaller now than when we first got him. He gets along great with other dogs.

Story
Logan – Boxer Mix Logan is a handsome male Boxer mix with a sweet heart and a lot of love to give. Born July 8, 2020, Logan weighs about 72 pounds and has been part of his current family since he was adopted from a dog rescue in Georgia in 2020. He is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his rabies and DHPPC vaccines. Logan is good with dogs and children, making him a wonderful fit for a family looking for a loyal companion. He is housebroken and well mannered. He is also current on heartworm prevention and has been heartworm tested - which was negative.  His current family loves him and wants the very best for him, but they feel they no longer have the time or space to give him the home life he deserves. Logan spends much of his time alone, and they want him to have the chance to be with a family who will truly make him part of their everyday life. Logan is described as a great dog who deserves a great family. He is ready for a fresh start with someone who will give him the love, attention, and healthy home environment he needs. Story
Hi hoomans, it’s me, Sommer, your resident 6‑pound cuddle bug and part‑time chaos intern. Big news: I went outside for the very first time this week. Wow. So many smells. So many things to explore. So much room to run and play with the resident dogs. I am thoroughly intrigued by this thing called a hose and the wet stuff that comes out of it. Reminds me of my first week here with all of my spa days. Uncle Max has been teaching me how to watch squirrels like a serious dog. I stand next to him and stare at the fence, but honestly…I have no idea what we’re waiting for. He seems very passionate about it, though, so I pretend I understand. I’m feeling better, getting braver, but still like being held so I can shove my whole face into your neck like a baby koala. Foster life is pretty great. Love, Sommer 🐶✨ Sommer’s first few days here were a little “ruff” — poor girl had some tummy troubles and mostly wanted to snooze. But now that she’s feeling better, her puppy personality is bursting through. She’s playing with toys (Lamb Chop is the reigning favorite), wrestling with her brother Kayce, and treating foster mom’s walking boot like her own personal jungle gym. She loves being held, burying her face in your neck, and has become surprisingly accustomed to her frequent “spa days” thanks to those tummy issues. 😆 She loves when the big resident dogs come over to say hello, she gets up and runs over to give kisses 🥰 This little girl is a beauty and her name is Sommer. This is her story. A mama dog was pulled off the streets and safely delivered 9 puppies in foster care. They’ve been loved and cared for since birth… but then the original foster’s landlord found out, and the puppies had to be moved immediately. Dallas Dog - Rescue.Rehab.Reform brought them into the fold and they have been separated into smaller groups for fostering. They are: 🐾 Medium‑breed pups 🐾 Social, playful, and used to being together 🐾 At a critical age where consistency matters We are beginning to accept adoption applications so we can place them in stable homes as soon as they’re ready. Pairs are ideal, but single‑pup adopters committed to proper socialization are welcome too. If you’ve been thinking about adopting, now is the moment to step in for one of these babies. www.dallasdog.org

Story
Laramie is a beautiful little girl. She’s very sweet and friendly. She wants to say hi to everyone and give them kisses. She gets along great with other dogs and has spent time with children and was good with them too. She has a foster cat sister and would really like to play with her too but the kitty isnt a fan of puppyness. She’s got puppy energy and loves to play and chew. She follows her foster dog sister around and they play, although she’s going to need a bigger playmate. She loves to run and would do great with a yard! Here is her story. A mama dog was pulled off the streets and safely delivered 9 puppies in foster care. Story
Carter checking in. Just a reminder that I'm still here waiting for my perfect family. I love big, play hard with my foster siblings, run fast and now jump high. I'm super smart - learned how to go inside and outside through a magic door this week, and love soft beds to sleep in. I'm having so much fun at Camp 5 Oaks and have learned so much but am ready to meet my new family! Meet Carter, an adorable 15-week-old puppy weighing 20 pounds with a beautiful brindle coat. He will grow into a medium-sized dog. He’s smart, eager to please, and has a fun yet calm personality. He’s been working on all the commands and is sure to charm you with his talents. A sweet little male with a story to tell. He is such a good boy. Certified cuddle expert. Professional tail wagger. He believes every human is his best friend and every snack should legally be shared with him. A mama dog was pulled off the streets and safely delivered 9 puppies in foster care. Story
Hi, I’m Kayce, the 25.5 lb lap dog you’ve been searching for! My foster parents say I’m only 14 weeks old, but look at these legs! I am built for long walks, backyard zoomies, and absolute elite-level couch snuggling. 🌟 Boxer mix on paper, brindle Black Mouth Cur in looks, and 100% good boy in personality. 🐕 Great with dogs: Play with a GSD, Pocket Bully, and Terrier. 🐈 Cat friendly: Safely living with 2 foster cats. 🎓 Smart boy: Already knows 'sit' and 'down'. 💤 Crate trained: Doing amazing and age-appropriate. 🚽 Potty training: Working hard on potty training and going outside. I’m a smart, handsome pup with a huge heart, and I'm ready to find my forever family. ❤️ Hi everyone, it’s me, Kayce — your friendly neighborhood chaos nugget, wrestling champion, and professional zoom‑ologist. This week has been AWESOME: I got to run around outside and I have decided that the backyard is my personal amusement park. There are smells to sniff, sticks to chomp, and dogs to wrestle (lovingly of course). I take my job as Fun Supervisor very seriously. I also met a hose. I do NOT vibe with the hose. It wiggles. It sprays. It’s unpredictable. I barked at it once to let it know I’m watching, then retreated to a safe distance because I value my life. I’m getting braver, smarter, and sillier every day. I love exploring, wrestling, and doing independent puppy missions… but I also love cuddles. Especially the kind where I smush my face into foster mom's until she kisses my head. So anyway… I think I’m pretty awesome. And I think you might think I’m awesome too. Please adopt me so I can bring my zoomies, snuggles, and questionable decision‑making skills to your home. Story
I cannot take care of him much longer, and will be forced to either surrender him to a shelter or euthanize him (which I really do not want to do)This is Silas, he was born with a birth defect as you can see in the picture. It doesn't hinder him whatsoever. He was my wife's dog and as we are going through a divorce she abandoned him and ran off with her new boyfriend, so I have been taking care of him for over a year and can no longer do so. He's a great dog with a lot of love to give, and he gets around great even though his leg is short on the front. He has a lot of energy, but can also be very well tempered.
