Story
Logan is 5 years old and has been with our family since we adopted him at 3 mother’s old. He is loving, playful, and energetic, and needs an owner that has time to play with him and take him for walks. Our schedules have become hectic, and our yard is much smaller now than when we first got him. He gets along great with other dogs.

Story
Logan – Boxer Mix Logan is a handsome male Boxer mix with a sweet heart and a lot of love to give. Born July 8, 2020, Logan weighs about 72 pounds and has been part of his current family since he was adopted from a dog rescue in Georgia in 2020. He is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his rabies and DHPPC vaccines. Logan is good with dogs and children, making him a wonderful fit for a family looking for a loyal companion. He is housebroken and well mannered. He is also current on heartworm prevention and has been heartworm tested - which was negative.  His current family loves him and wants the very best for him, but they feel they no longer have the time or space to give him the home life he deserves. Logan spends much of his time alone, and they want him to have the chance to be with a family who will truly make him part of their everyday life. Logan is described as a great dog who deserves a great family. He is ready for a fresh start with someone who will give him the love, attention, and healthy home environment he needs. Story
Bruce is 7 years old and he was a shelter transfer. He was the longest resident at the other shelter and now he has the chance to have more visibility. Bruce is a perfect dog. He has attend a lot of adoption events and is friendly with anyone he meets, he loves kids, other dogs and people.   He is such a lay back baby and loves to play in the yard but also has that calm demeanor. He may have some gray hair in his face but he is the most charismatic boy. Super easy to walk him and spend time with him. shelter at 972-744-4480 or email AskRichardsonAnimalServices@cor.gov to learn more.August 8, 2026, 7:33 pm

Story
At just 6 months old, Rouge is still a puppy with his whole life ahead of him. Like many young dogs, he’s full of energy, loves walks, enjoys playing fetch, and is ready to learn. His previous owners described him as good with strangers, and shelter staff says he’s playful, a little shy at first, and has lots of potential. Rouge is looking for an experienced home that understands young dogs need patience, structure, and training. He’ll do best with someone committed to helping him build confidence and good manners through positive reinforcement. Because of his history of resource guarding, he’ll need a home that can safely manage and continue working on that behavior, and no kids. Every dog deserves a chance, and Rouge is hoping the right person will see beyond his past and give him the opportunity to become the amazing companion he can be. Story
Looking for the Right Forever Home 🐾❤️ Name: Vincent aka Vinny This sweet boy was born on March 10, 2026, and is currently 20 weeks old. When he was about 11–12 weeks old, I made the difficult decision to rehome him. I spent time researching the family and truly believed he was going to a loving, safe home. On July 31, 2026, everything changed. I received a message from his owner saying she would abandon him because she could no longer care for him due to health issues. She told me that if I couldn’t figure something out by 6:00 PM, she would let him go. There was no way I could let that happen. I brought him home immediately, and my family will be fostering him until we can find the loving forever home he deserves.

Story
I cannot take care of him much longer, and will be forced to either surrender him to a shelter or euthanize him (which I really do not want to do)This is Silas, he was born with a birth defect as you can see in the picture. It doesn't hinder him whatsoever. He was my wife's dog and as we are going through a divorce she abandoned him and ran off with her new boyfriend, so I have been taking care of him for over a year and can no longer do so. He's a great dog with a lot of love to give, and he gets around great even though his leg is short on the front. He has a lot of energy, but can also be very well tempered.
