Born July 8, 2020, Logan weighs about 72 pounds and has been part of his current family since he was adopted from a dog rescue in Georgia in 2020. He is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his rabies and DHPPC vaccines. Logan is good with dogs and children, making him a wonderful fit for a family looking for a loyal companion. He is housebroken and well mannered. He is also current on heartworm prevention and has been heartworm tested - which was negative. His current family loves him and wants the very best for him, but they feel they no longer have the time or space to give him the home life he deserves. Logan spends much of his time alone, and they want him to have the chance to be with a family who will truly make him part of their everyday life. Hi hoomans, it’s me, Sommer, your resident 6‑pound cuddle bug and part‑time chaos intern. Big news: I went outside for the very first time this week. Wow. So many smells. So many things to explore. So much room to run and play with the resident dogs. I am thoroughly intrigued by this thing called a hose and the wet stuff that comes out of it. Reminds me of my first week here with all of my spa days. Uncle Max has been teaching me how to watch squirrels like a serious dog. I stand next to him and stare at the fence, but honestly…I have no idea what we’re waiting for. He seems very passionate about it, though, so I pretend I understand. I’m feeling better, getting braver, but still like being held so I can shove my whole face into your neck like a baby koala. Foster life is pretty great. But now that she’s feeling better, her puppy personality is bursting through. I cannot take care of him much longer, and will be forced to either surrender him to a shelter or euthanize him (which I really do not want to do)This is Silas, he was born with a birth defect as you can see in the picture. It doesn't hinder him whatsoever. He was my wife's dog and as we are going through a divorce she abandoned him and ran off with her new boyfriend, so I have been taking care of him for over a year and can no longer do so. He's a great dog with a lot of love to give, and he gets around great even though his leg is short on the front. He has a lot of energy, but can also be very well tempered.
