Meet Leon, the little king of the SNIPSA Jungle! When Leon first arrived, he was as sweet as could be, though understandably a bit mellow in his new surroundings. To lift his spirits during his first night in the SNIPSA office, a staff member tucked a plush lion toy into his crate. It was an instant match; Leon fell head-over-paws for his new companion, and we watched his vibrant personality truly begin to roar. He adored his "mini-me" so much that we simply had to name him after it! True to his name, Leon sports striking, regal markings that give him a miniature king-of-the-savanna look. But don’t let the tough name fool you—this boy is a professional snuggler who is never far from his favorite plushy. As a young cub in training, Leon is currently working hard on his puppy basics, including potty training, crate manners, and learning that life is better with a routine. He is eager to please and will thrive in a home that can provide the consistent guidance (and plenty of toys) a growing boy needs. Arthur is 8yrs old. His birthday is November 5, 2017. He is sweet and affectionate with lots of energy and stubbornness. He likes a small bowl of milk for breakfast, to play with toys, and to go for walks. Toys have to be durable, because he will tear them up. He has been an inside dog and an outside dog. He has his rabies shot, but not the others. I also plan to get him neutered. I'm rehoming him, because he was my mom's dog (she passed away recently), but I cannot keep him. He has been well loved.

For the times you will not be home we are willing to provide an industrial grade kennel for him that will accommodate his tendencies of trying to escape when being left alone.
