Waylon is a 10 month old happy and healthy boy! This sweet boy was rescued from the streets of San Antonio. He was stranded off the side of the road, hidden in the brush with his sister. They were both covered in fleas and ticks and were skin and bones. Since getting acclimated to his new, safe and comfy life, he has blossomed into the biggest love bug. He loves to give kisses and get belly rubs in return. He loves to play with his other dog friends, but is perfectly happy playing with his chew toys on his own. He is leash trained and potty trained. Waylon would thrive in a home with another dog. We can't wait to hear from you!

Aspen is a fun dog with lots of energy, but she does love napping as well. She enjoys walks and car rides. She does not chew on furniture or anything. She loves snuggling and sleeping and is like a toddler she likes to be at your side. She does seem a little intimidating at first but once she knows she you can't help but love her. She loves to greet people at the door. She does obey and will sit and wait for her treats. I think she would do good with a young family/kids. Her and I drove to Michigan two summers ago and she was a great travel partner. I am only rehoming her because I am getting over an injury and not able to give her all the attention and love she deserves. She comes with her food dish and self-serving water dish as well as her fun feeder dish, leash and collar and toys.

We found “Ghost” in our neighborhood on January 16. He was emaciated and timid, but is now healthy and active. He loves people, taking walks, and chasing balls. He is heartworm negative and has had one dose of heartworm prevention medication. He has had his basic vaccinations, and the vet estimated his age to be 3-4 years old. He was obviously someone’s pet, because he obeys basic commands, but has no microchip and we have had no response to ourposts posts on social media. He would make a wonderful pet/companion for someone who has space for him to run and play!

I adopted him in October from SA Pets Alive! He is a truly great dog, but it seems that I can’t train him. I’ve been able to train other dogs, but he took a lot of effort and has separation anxiety. He also started many fights with my cat, which had been my first pet. He’s a lovely dog, but he needs someone with more time and space to train him.
