Hello, I have recently moved and my dog does not get along with other dogs in the home. I have had Gus since he was 7weeks old and he has been a great part of my family. He is currently 6 and his birthday is October 29th. He has been loved by me and my many siblings. He has been around kids 3 years and up with no issues. He loves walks and squeaky toys. He will come with kennel, his favorite toys, and a harness. He needs to be in a single dog home with a family who can put up with his goofy self. He is fixed, has all his shots, and potty trained. It is the hardest decision I am making to let him go but I want him to live a life outside of a kennel. No issues besides the fact he doesn’t get along well with other dogs. If you consider taking him into your home please don’t be shy to give him hugs and kisses. He will never turn them down.

My story Here's what the humans have to say about me: Meet Jewel! Jewel was in a small rural shelter in La Joya, Texas on the border of Mexico. She was picked up as a stray with her 5 cute little happy puppies. We think she is a boxer/terrier mix, 50lbs and around 3 years old. She has beautiful eyes that look through your soul. And her underbite smile is everything! Jewel is a jewel! A true gem. She is super friendly, happy, loving and wonderful! She has never met a stranger and gets along great with other dogs. She has a playful side, but she isn't overboard, and loves loves loves being with people. Our van was totally full on our last trip to the border, but we just could not leave her and her puppies behind, after her heart felt yodel in the kennel. Must watch her video. She is a great dog, with a wonderful happy future full of love and fun to give to the right family. It`s been great seeing all my siblings go into foster homes or get officially adopted. I don`t know why I am still here though. :(I have made doggy friends and my Auntie Nancy Jo fell in love with me her first week of volunteering, so she happily sponsored my adoption fee! :)I have been to several community events as the official shelter `Ambassador`, and I did great every time!
