Story
Socks is a 3-year-old Husky/Pit/Boxer mix with one very important goal in life: find her person and love them with everything she’s got. This girl is loyal to her core and forms strong bonds quickly. Once Socks decides you’re one of her people, congratulations—you now have a devoted shadow. Whether you’re heading out for a walk, jumping in the car for an adventure, watching TV, or doing absolutely nothing on the couch, Socks just wants to be included. Her current foster has gotten to see what a special girl she truly is. Socks has wonderful house manners, is house trained and crate trained, and is incredibly trusting and easy to handle. Nail trims? No problem. Teeth brushing? She handles it like a champ. She seems genuinely grateful for the love and care she receives and has a sweet way of showing her appreciation right back. Socks absolutely loves people and especially loves kids. She has been wonderful with the children she meets and happily soaks up all the attention and hugs they’re willing to give her. She is also dog friendly, although she can be selective with certain dogs, so a meet and greet with any potential canine siblings would be important. Cats, however, are a definite no for Socks. She’s the perfect combination of adventure buddy and couch potato. She loves walks, exploring new places, and hopping in the car for a ride, but she’s equally thrilled to curl up beside you for a good cuddle. And then there’s her personality. Socks loves to sing and has a whole collection of hilarious hyena-like noises, happy grumbles, and commentary for just about every occasion. Does she look a little like someone crossed a gargoyle with a hyena? Maybe. But we happen to think it’s part of her charm. Her vet calls her a “gem of a dog,” and the more we get to know Socks, the more we agree. And here’s the REALLY good news: Socks’ adoption fee has been fully sponsored! Her approved adopter will still receive all the same veterinary care included with adoption—her spay, age-appropriate vaccinations, parasite prevention, and microchip—but her adoption fee is covered. Socks has so much love and loyalty waiting for the right family. Now she just needs someone to finally choose her. Apply to adopt Socks at fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.com.

Story
Meet Clyde, a handsome 10-month-old Boxer mix who weighs around 35 lbs. This good boy has a heart as big as his bounce! He’s healthy, happy, and bursting with playful puppy energy. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion who will happily join you for adventures and then curl up for snuggles afterward, this is your boy! Before coming into rescue, Clyde and his sister Bonnie survived on their own for several months and experienced severe starvation and neglect. Because of that, they developed some food-related resource guarding - but, only towards other dogs, never people. He is completely comfortable with people of all ages around his food and toys. You can hand-feed him treats, add food to his bowl or take it away from him completely, even while he’s eating, and pick up his toys without any issue at all. He has miraculously always been gentle and very trusting with people.  His only concern is making sure that other dogs don’t take his food, especially his sister. We think they found themselves in situations where they had to fight over every piece of food they could find, just to survive. Since being rescued, he has been in a foster home with several other dogs who have similar backgrounds and they have found that he does wonderfully when fed in his own crate. Having his own safe, quiet space to eat allows him to relax and enjoy his meals without worry. Outside of mealtimes, he is a typical older puppy and is happy to play, explore, and lounge around with all other dogs and his people.  He is very resilient, loving, and highly intelligent, ready for a fresh start with a family who understands that a little structure at mealtime helps him feel secure. He’s going to make an incredible companion, all he needs now is a forever home where he’ll always know he’s loved and safe - and will never be hungry again. Clyde is neutered, fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. Our pups come with one month of free pet insurance when you adopt. If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https:// packleadersrescue.com/adoption-application/

Story
Athena is a 8 month-old Newfoundland mix with a fun, loving personality. She is house-trained and crate-trained and loves spending time with people and other dogs. Athena is an energetic young dog and enjoys playing, running, and being active. Athena thrives in a home where she has plenty of exercise, attention, and opportunities to play. She does great with other dogs. Due to changes in our families circumstances we are unable to give Athena the time and attention she deserves. My goal is to find her a safe, loving home where she will be treated like family and can continue to grow and thrive.
