Scooby enjoys short walks, soft beds, tasty treats, and spending time with his people. He’s a happy, easygoing guy who’s just thrilled to be part of a loving home again. He is SUCH a special boy. Every single person who has met him is amazed by his sweet, calm & gentle demeanor. He welcomes snuggles from all people, big and small, and playtime with all dogs! He sleeps soundly in the crate all night and also does well in it intermittently throughout the day. He is making very good progress with potty training—following the lead of our other dogs, even though he is not a fan of this cold. One of the things we love best about him is that he enjoys playing with our dogs, but he is also content entertaining himself with his toys. His blue eyes are so beautiful! Explore our adoptable animals and find your perfect match today! For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org Meet Nala Nala is available to come on our next transport with Habersham County Animal Shelter on Saturday, 1/17, but she needs a foster or adopter to secure her spot. Without a committed foster or adopter, she will not be able to make the trip. Nala’s story is one of second chances and quiet resilience. This girl came to the shelter through no fault of her own when her previous owner could no longer care for her. Despite the upheaval, Nala has remained loving, social, and eager to connect with both people and other dogs. Nala is a confident, friendly, and affectionate dog with a wonderful balance of energy and manners. She comes out ready to play and have fun, but she reads other dogs well and adjusts her energy to match her playmates. Because of her excellent social skills, she now helps evaluate new dogs’ temperaments at the shelter. She is gentle when taking treats, keeps a clean kennel, and truly enjoys human affection, happily leaning in for pets and cuddles. Her leash manners are improving every day. She may be a bit excited when first leaving the kennel, but she settles quickly and walks very nicely once she’s moving. Nala would thrive in a home that enjoys activity, playtime, and plenty of bonding time, followed by relaxing snuggles. Age: 2 years old Gender: Female Weight: ~50 lbs Breed: Boxer Mix Spayed/Neutered: Yes Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Leash Manners: Improving Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: No Good with Kids: Yes Nala is more than her past. She is a loving, joyful dog ready for stability, companionship, and a family to call her own. Could you be the foster or adopter who helps her secure her spot and start her next chapter?
