Calvin is a housetrained, fun-loving, and energetic pup who’s ready to find his forever home! He's a sweet, 6-year-old Bull Terrier Mix who weighs 43.3 pounds. He loves his crate (as long as the door’s open!) but prefers snoozing on a comfy dog bed. This goofy boy has a ton of energy and enthusiasm for life—he’s always up for a round of fetch (or three!), toys, car rides, and a nice bone to chew on. Although Calvin walks well on a leash, he can be dog reactive, so he’ll need an owner who can confidently manage his reactivity in public. A securely fenced yard would be a big help for exercise and playtime. Calvin has been around babies and toddlers, but may accidentally knock them over in his excitement, so a home with children over age 5 would be best. With his playful spirit, affectionate personality, and love for cuddles, Calvin will bring endless joy and laughter to his new family. His minimum adoption fee is $400 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Hi, I'm Lisa! I’m a 6-month-old pup weighing about 32 pounds, and I’ve already had quite the adventure in my life thus far. I was found all alone wandering the streets of Georgia, and now I’m living my best life up in Illinois, hoping to find a forever family to call my own. I’m a sweet, playful girl who loves nothing more than to be with her favorite humans. I also LOVE to play with other dogs and have gotten along with everyone I've met. Since the canine friend I live with in foster is 8 years old and can't quite play all day anymore, I'm also very content to settle down and get to work on a bone. I’m proud to say I’m already crate trained and house trained, so I know how to be a polite house pup too! I sleep through the night in my kennel without a peep and have no problem spending some time in there throughout the day. I’m also steadily working on building my confidence, and I've been told I’m doing great with gentle encouragement, routine, and love. My foster parents say they're not sure what I might have had to go through in my short life thus far, but I’m learning quickly that my new world is a pretty great, safe place! How cute is Baxter?! He is an active three month old puppy that does great with kids and other dogs! Baxter hails from Tazewell County and was wild liked by the staff there. When asked if we had room, we had a Foster Home that was eager to take on a pup that was so cute. He loves to play, get belly rubs, hand roll in the snow. He is working very hard on housebreaking! Baxter is looking for a forever family to call his own. Born July 2025)

We got Ranger from Springfield APL. We love him dearly but we have some family medical issues that will not allow us to give him the attention he needs or deserves. He is very social and has to greet anyone that comes over. He loves tug of war and playing keep away with his toys and balls. We have kennel and chew toys and food that we will give away to help with an easy transition. We have taken him to some training as well. He is 4 or 5 I can't remember off the top of my head. He is high energy and needs room to play.
