She also is spayed and is up to date on vaccines. She is very much a lap kitty, and is super sweet and affectionate. She absolutely loves eating (so she will need to be on a feeding schedule) and has been an indoor kitty her entire life. Coco's wonderful and caring owner just wants to find her a loving home. Please contact Chris for more information (text) at 916-618-3556 or email masfolsom@aol.com

Home to Home Contact: Krystal at krystallucas2011@gmail.com or 926-945-4841 Meet Nova, Nova is a little shy BUT also very lovey. She is a spayed female and is about 10 years old. She loves her humans and loves to be pet and get on your lap. She forces pets herself on me all the time lol. She is just under a lot of stress at her current home because there is too much going on. Even though she is a shy girl, she allows the kids to pet her and sometimes even rubs up on the dogs. When I first got her she was super scared and took a while to come out of her shell. I let her have a room to herself until she felt comfortable venturing out. She would really love a home that is quiet/calm and a human that gives her lots of love. All I want for her is to find a good home where she can relax and enjoy her life. Please contact Krystal at krystallucas2011@gmail.com or 926-945-4841 if interested in Nova.

Sweet young female. Enjoys snuggling on laps. She loves the outdoors but has adjusted to being indoors only. We love her but she’s having problems with our male cat and think it’s best to separate them.

Story
Sky is a beautiful 10-year-old calico. My wife has had her for most of her life, when she rescued her from her initial owner. Sky likes to keep to herself, look out windows, and find treats in stimulating toys. Sky has severe inflammatory bowel disease and is always hungry, though she can’t seem to put on weight. She has gotten consistent veterinary care and is up to date on all shots and check-ups. We are looking to rehome Sky due to multiple factors. She is fine with dogs who don’t bark at her or chase her, but we have a dog whose primary interest in life is doing both of those things. It is highly stressful for Sky, despite our best efforts and extensive dog training and other changes we have made. Additionally, she needs continued vet care to get to the bottom of her complex IBD, which we can no longer afford. Her need to eat many times a day due to her IBD (wet food - she refuses kibble) has also become financially unsustainable. We hope that Sky can find the right forever home!

Story
I rescued my two kitties while in college and was never planning on moving home however some things changed and I had to. Unfortunately our one dog has too high of a prey drive and has been unable to get used to the cats over the year and a half period. They are 5 years old and the best boys! The sit really well for nail trimmings, they have never bitten or scratched me, and they love to cuddle. Apollo is a very curious outgoing cat while Calcifer is more reserved but has a funny personality when he finally gets comfortable and comes out of his shell. They would probably prefer a dog free home however they are okay with our other dog so if you do have a dog, a relaxed docile one would be ideal. They are a bonded pair and would need to go together and they don’t love to spend a ton of time alone so they would be perfect for someone who works from home or has a large enough family that at least one person would be home.

Story
1) READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end) These sisters were born to be wild, but not in a bad way. They are the most energetic of the litter and really know how to have fun. Yomie absolutely loves attention and being on someone’s lap, shoulder, back or head, purring the entire time. She wants to be close to her person and likes rubbing faces. Although her primary objective is getting attention, Yomie really knows how to have a good time. She is a marathon runner, an avid hunter and will kill any toy that moves in her field of vision. She is slender and built for speed. Yomi’s sister Fuji is just as active as Yomie with her own set of athletic abilities and skills. Fuji is an acclaimed high jumper that enjoys (cat) tree climbing, zooming through the cat tunnel, and carrying toys (big and small) around. Fuji will need a high (carpeted) cat tree, or two, in her home to maintain her climbing skills. Fuji is full of fun and the life of the party. Once she has exhausted her energy Fuji will climb on a lap to relax. These sisters will run around and play until physically exhausted, and sometimes panting. As active as they are, they also enjoy spending some time on the couch hanging out. Yomie and Fuji are smart and are always investigating new things and will likely be in the middle of any home project. This dynamic duo is looking for a home together where they have room to run around and be crazy. They would probably do fine in a home with other friendly cats, a cat savvy mellow dog and teen children, or older. If you would like to know more about these party girls please fill out and submit an adoption application. ________________________________________________________ ****MEDICAL INFO**** WE DO NOT CUT CORNERS WITH OUR CATS HEALTH NOR ONLY DO THE BARE MINIMUM REQUIRED BY LAW!!! We are a quality over quantity-based rescue with our kitten’s health and your resident pet's health as a priority. We don't sacrifice quality health care for lower costs or hurrying to free up space in our program like other rescues and shelters do. We also use high quality food to nourish our kittens. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED by a PRIVATE veterinarian ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process You can fill out electronically or print out and take a picture of the application & send it via email, whichever is easiest for you. _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION***** By private appointment in Rocklin, CA area, at Bark Avenue Rocklin or foster home. ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs. if we think it's a potentially good match. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you!
