Story
Charlotte joined us at the lounge on July 12th and is more than ready to go home! She and Noah are actually two of Letti’s babies! (Mama Letti was adopted in October, 2023.) Charlotte has a bit of brown mixed with her orange, plus some white. She may come across as skittish but we think of her as cautious. Once she decides she’s OK to be petted she loves it! She’ll warm up even more once she’s home and out of the hustle and bustle of the lounge. When she allows some petting or brushing she melts into it with a very nice purr. She gets very brave for Churu treats and loves when we bring out the bubbles to chase and pop! Chasing springs is one of her favorite games. A portion of Charlotte’s adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous donor.

Story
Hi! I'm Asha. I know what you're thinking, how can someone so pretty need a home? I don't remember much but I was found by a good Samaritan and taken to a shelter. Lucky for me, Surfcat rescued me from that loud, scary place. I love my foster mom but she would like to foster more kitties and says she can't until I get adopted. Ok, here's the thing, I am much happier being an only pet. In exchange for being an only pet, I would be happy to provide my supervisory services for someone who works from home, but I'm also fine being by myself if you have to go to work all day (or night). I'd also be an excellent companion for someone who is retired.I'm very shy at first but once I get to know you, I'm a sweet girl. Foster Mom says I'm not exactly a lap cat but I am a lap-adjacent cat, which she thinks is better because she doesn't have to move me when she gets up. She also says that one of my best qualities is that when I wake her up in the morning for breakfast, I'm pretty nice about it. I usually meow a little and jump up on the bed (I sleep on the couch, my choice) and if she doesn't get up, I either lie down next to her and wait for her to get up, or I jump down and keep myself busy until she does the right thing and feeds me.I'm pretty chill. I like sitting on the couch with my foster mom while she reads or watches TV (I'm becoming a true crime aficionado but I also enjoy watching the Dodgers and movies, especially Christmas ones). Another thing I love is going on the cat-safe balcony but that's as outdoors as I get.I hope you enjoyed reading about me. I want to find my forever home so Foster Mom can foster more cats. Please fill out our adoption application by opening this link: https://surfcatcafe.org/adoption-application/

Story
DOB 1-19-23   Meet Ava Gardner, a demure and stunning Calico. She was dumped at a vets office and was kept in a crate for months. Valley Cats took her in to find her a forever home. We don’t know much of her history, but she was sad and reserved when she came to us. She is starting to learn to trust, play and build  her confidence. She became attached to another cat, Wayne, and he has helped bring her out of her shell. We would love her to be adopted with him. It’s probably the only friend she feels safe with and shines when she’s with him. Come in to meet Ava at our cage-free adoption center in Westlake Village.April 27, 2024, 10:03 pm

Story
Hullo dahlings! I'm Tallulah Pickles, and I have very strong views on the proper habitat for my gorgeousness, which involve hovering servants (you), a warm spot to rest on (your lap), and luxurious accommodations (your bed). I also require that I am the only Queen Bee in the house and get all the attention. Since despite my many wonderful qualities I lack opposable thumbs, you'll have to do the clicking for both of us.  ##1772618##
