Calypso is a beautiful, social and fun-loving Calico who loves to chat!  Not yet two years old, she will play and play, and then after tiring herself with so much fun, she enjoys curling up with you for a deep, cozy snooze.  Calypso is very communicative and likes to talk to you about all sorts of things.  She always greets you with a friendly stretch and happy chirp or meow.  Calypso loves gazing out of windows, and running through cat tunnels.  She can self-entertain when you are busy, yet she adores interacting with her human(s).  Cat wand and dancer toys are Calypso’s favorites!  She also loves ping pong balls which she chases throughout the room.  Calypso is a uniquely gorgeous Calico Tuxedo with golden eyes, an exotic profile, and lots of black eyeliner that sometimes looks like she is a cute masked lady!  She has an exuberant spirit and outsize personality!  Gorgeous, energetic Calypso will love a home that appreciates and respects Calico uniqueness and opinions, and will enjoy her fun and always interesting Calico spirit!  She will do very well as a solo cat or with an easygoing kitty she can trust.  She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, defleaed, and tested FeLV negative.  Calypso is being fostered in Ventura.   This is a courtesy listing.  To meet fun and fascinating Calypso, please email synthip19@gmail.com.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 1, 2026, 11:27 pm

Story
Callie is a sweet cat with an adventurous spirit. We’ve had her since she was a kitten and estimate she is about 6 years old. Her breed is unknown. She is litter box trained and loves cuddles and attention. She has a strong desire to be outdoors. In our previous home, she was able to sneak outside but always returned. Since moving to a second-story apartment where she can no longer get out, she appears unhappy and often sits by windows or the front door wanting to go outside. Since this change, she has started having litter box issues, going just outside the box or on puppy pads, which we believe is related to her unhappiness being indoors only. Callie gets along very well with our other cat. She tolerates baths if needed. With a baby arriving,allergies and her litter box issues, we have made the very difficult decision to rehome her in her in her best interest. We are hoping to find Callie a loving home that can provide safe indoor/outdoor access, patience, and lots of love.

This little girl and her brother were trapped in a field in Bakersfield and brought to Ventura to be fostered. She is your typical calico cat with energy and intelligence. At 7 months, she is ready for her forever home. She loves a good toy and comes with her favorite laundry basket. She might not be a lap cat yet, but she’s the first one to snuggle up to you in bed. She is fixed, dewormed, treated for fleas, and has had her first round of shots. Satisfaction is guaranteed and if this sweet little girl doesn’t fit into your life, at any time, we will take her back and try to find her a new home. If you are local to Ventura, we provide free pet sitting for her, too.

For a big boy he is light of structure - and he has the sweetest mew.
