She is a very young mother who was abandoned by her owners at their church--ready to give birth at not even a year old! They just didn't want "Christmas" Holly and her little kittens. Beautiful "Christmas" Holly needs to be an indoor cat only. She had her first litter successfully (they are now weaned and under foster care and being adopted out) and has been spayed. We understand that "Christmas" Holly was born on Christmas 2020, and now we have listed her for adoption on Thanksgiving 2021! That is pretty sad for such a lovely girl. Her brothers were adopted as kittens, but Cleo and her sister (Celeste) struggled to adjust to the busy environment of our rescue, and became nervous around people. They have now been with us for 9 years, and we would love for someone to give these two a chance. Cleo is a sweetie, but she will need some patience and work to let her guard down and be comfortable. She comes out, when she’s ready, and meows at the staff. She is okay being petted, but needs you to go slow. She is part of a bonded pair with her sister, and they will need a quiet household with no dogs or children. Cleo is a gorgeous girl, very gentle, and so worthy of a home to call her own. Hi there! My name is Keanu and my brother is Rell! We were rescued as stray kittens and have been looking for a special home for a while. We would love to tell you all about us! For me, Keanu, I'm a shy guy who takes some time to warm up. I can be a bit skittish with sudden movements or loud sounds but I do love pets from my favorite humans. I also LOVE my brother very much and we snuggle all the time. He's my emotional support bro and helps me acclimate to new homes. My brother Rell is a total lover boy. He's super friendly with human friends after he's given time to settle in new home. He loves to sleep on your chest, get tummy rubs, and follow you around! He's the ultimate cuddle kitty. Rell has recently had a urinary block and is now on prescription food. He has not had any further issues since but will require frequent monitoring just in case.
