Story
Tako. 8-12 months old. FS DSH. Calico/tabby? She's everything.. Kid/cat/dog friendly.  Extremely affectionate with people.    Kid-, Dog- and Cat Friendly!!!  Hi! I'm Takoyaki, and my foster parents call me Tako! I'm an affectionate and rambunctious young lady, who did not let my broken leg slow me down!    My time at ACCT was running short.  Luckily for me, a nice lady saw me and wanted to take me home with her, shattered right  femur and all!  And after assessments by multiple surgeons, it turned out that my leg did not need to be amputated.  It could heal on its own, and I would be left with a minor limp.    I love people, dogs, and other cats in that order. My biggest flaw is my love for human food....I will break into anything I can for a bite of your food.  I am really good at playing by myself, in fact so much so, that all string toys must be hidden overnight as I tried to amputate my left leg with a wand toy on my first night in foster care.  I like to use my litter box properly, and I'm already gentle when playing with others.    Her foster said, 'Leg's all healed, wouldn't recommend super high jumps for a few more months, but she's good to go.  Yes, friendly with kids; yes, friendly with dogs, I'll try to get some pics of her with my 85lb American bulldog..they're very cute together.'   From Tako: DO NOT ADOPT ME IF YOU LIKE TO HAVE A COLD AND EMPTY LAP.    Do YOU need a lap warmer?  Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster:  Ellen B.)December 3, 2025, 2:59 pm

Story
Kid-, Dog- and Cat-Friendly!!  Sweet little Elizabeth is female Tabico Tux. We are guessing she was born sometime August/ September 2025. This little girl has a very very calm, sweat, laid-back personality.  Elizabeth loves her string toys and playing with her litter mates. I must say this girl loves to curl up in your lap for a long nap. Elizabeth can also be found in a sunny window watching the birds. Elizabeth lives with her 4 litter mates plus a few house cats and lastly an extra-large house dog (over 100 lbs). Elizabeth gets along with everyone in the house. I would even say she is good with children too. Elizabeth is good with: Children: Absolutely. She loves everyone! Cats: She loves feline friends!!! Dogs: Yes! Elizabeth lives with an extra-large house dog and she does not mind at all. -        Spayed. -        FeLV/ FIV: Neg. -        Litter Trained. -        Up to date on all shots. -        Flea preventative. Elizabeth is playing with her foster family and with her brother Enzo (FCID# 11/25/2025 - 136).   Please submit a no-obligation application for a meet and greet or to adopt today: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster: Sonia G.).December 1, 2025, 2:58 pm

Story
I love my Cali but a few things have led me to have to let her go. We rescued her as a kitten from the streets and gave her a good home with my other two cats who already lived with us. They ended up getting along fine but I believe this kitty is stressed out in our home and feeling like she has to compete with our other cats for territory. It seems my other cats intimidate her and she'd rather stay away from them. She uses her litter box just fine. I just got the news that I am 7 weeks pregnant and unfortunately I need to cut down on my animals and believe this kitty deserves a loving home with preferably no other cats in the home. She is due for an updated rabies shot. She was chipped, examined, spayed shots when we rescued her. (I have paperwork) I really wouldn't be giving her away if I wasn't pregnant but the thought of my other cats stressing her out and me being pregnant I believe this would be a good choice. I dont want her going to the spca.

Story
The sweet siblings were born to a stray cat outside of someone's home and she knew she had to help them. She called us and brought them in and we got them spayed, neutered vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and they all are negative for feeling leukemia and AIDS. The calico is a female and her tuxedo brother is of course a male. They are both very sweet, lovable babies who we hope to adopt together. Could you take in this awesome pair and give them a lifetime of love?

Story
Tabitha is a beautiful calico that we found at an apartment complex we have been fixing and feeding cats at for years and is known for people to abandon their pets at. She showed up for food quite a few times and when we caught her to see if she was spayed, or not of course she was not We look for her owners and no one claimed her so we got her spayed, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and tested for feline leukemia and AIDS both negative. Now we are looking for a new home for her. She probably would be best as an only pet and not good around young kids.
