Story
Crystal and a bunch of other cats were living in an alleyway in a not so good part of town. They were multiplying out of control and being threatened by some non cat loving people. We were asked to help, and when we went out there were a lot more than we thought but we did the best we could to try to get as many as we could. Surprisingly enough they were all pretty friendly and very sweet. They now all are spayed or neutered, vaccinated for fvrcp and rabies, flea and worm treated and tested negative for leukemia and AIDS. Now they are looking for new permanent, inside homes. If you are interested in Crystal or any of our other castaway cats please fill out our application at castawaycatsde.com

Story
Lap kitten alert!!  Please meet Chai (FCID# 12/18/2023 - 74)!  This four and a half month old baby girl is the real deal!  Chai is incredibly affectionate with a bit of spunk.  She will hop on your lap, purr loudly pushing herself against you and then attack the draw strings on your jacket!  She is highly intelligent and easily trainable - especially if you are training her for something she wants to do.  At the crinkle of the treat bag, she stakes her position on the top of the cat tree and impatiently waits for her treats to be doled out.  In case you forget where her dinner is to be served, she will cheerfully lead you to the spot.  Chai never met a toy she didn't like  - I am finding them all over the house!  Chai gets along well with other cats.  She would do best in a house with another young cat as she enjoys nap time with other feline companions.  Please consider adopting her with her cousin Cosmos (FCID# 12/18/23 - 23). The duo is playing in our Glen Mills PetSmart adoption center.  Please stop in for some playtime!  Thank you.  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  (Foster:  Neal Ann S.)February 23, 2024, 8:28 pm

Story
Peek-a-boo (Peek for short) is a beautiful and affectionate dilute torti tuxedo kitten. She is very social and loves to cuddle. Peek was found by Forgotten Cats with a damaged eye that was ultimately removed. She has clear vision in her remaining eye and loves to run and play like any other kitten. Peek-a-boo is an adventurer, always the first to investigate something new in the house and is always, always first out for feeding time.  She has a mellow temperament but does enjoy wrestling and running around with her siblings, Una and Wink.  If she is not adopted with one of her siblings, Peek would do best in a home with another playful cat. She also does well with children and calm dogs. Peek-a-Boo is playing with her foster family. Please submit our no-obligation adoption application for a meet and greet or to adopt: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you! (Foster: Liza W.) Story
Minnie is a 5–6-month-old calico with incredibly soft fur. She was rescued with her brother Mickey (FCID #11/16/2023-109) and at first, both were hesitant around humans.  However, they have flourished in foster care and Minnie now runs to the door to greet you with a happy tail and a big purr. She gets even more excited if you are bringing her food. Despite her small frame, Minnie has quite the appetite! Minnie loves to play with all kinds of toys, with the ribbon-wand being her favorite. She also enjoys running around with her brother and joining him for a wrestling match on the bed. Once she has used up all her energy, Minnie will come to you for some cuddling. If it’s nap time, she will happily climb onto your legs and stretch out for a snooze. Minnie and Mickey would do best if adopted together. Since they still get startled by loud noises and sudden movements, they are more suited to a quieter household without young children. They do get along with other cats and would likely be fine with a calmer dog with a proper introduction. Minnie is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and is quite a tidy litter box user. With a loving caregiver(s), Minnie and Mickey will undoubtedly become even more affectionate, and grow fully comfortable with household movement and noises. How about bringing them home to join your household? Minnie and Mickey are playing with their foster family. Please submit our no-obligation adoption application for a meet and greet or to adopt: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you! (Foster: Shirley G.). Story
Cali belonged to a distant family member and when they moved they were no longer able to care for her. We took her in but unfortunately she doesn't fare well with other cats. Otherwise she is great. She's extremely affectionate and let's anyone hold her and pick her up. Her previous owners had her declawed. I'm thinking she would do best in a home with no other cats where she would get a ton of affection. She begs to be held a lot.
