Please meet Winky and her brother Blinky!   Winky (FCID# 08/11/26-55)  This five month old cutie was rescued by Forgotten Cats weighing barely one pound and with an eye so infected that it ruptured.  Winky's  determination to survive is still evident in her self possession and the zest with which she plays.  If her brother has a toy that she wants, she swoops in and takes it even though he outweighs her by a couple of pounds!  Scatter treats onto the floor, and Winky quickly cleans them all up before her brother realizes what he is missing, running to each one and gobbling it in the blink of an eye!   Winky does not consider herself different from any other kitten.  She does not feel sorry for herself as she has navigated the world with one eye since she can remember. Winky does not bestow her affections willy-nilly, but once you gain her trust, she is a cuddlebug.    Blinky (FCID# 08/11/26-56) Five month old Blinky is a baby purr-bear.  He starts purring when he just thinks about you picking him up.  Blinky stands on his hind legs asking to be picked up - and how could anyone deny this sweet boy a cuddle?  He happily sits on your lap as long as you will let him.   Like his sister Winky, Blinky came to Forgotten Cats with a severely infected eye.  In spite of months of medication, his eye was not salvageable.  Blinky does not consider himself less than any other kitten and is able to do all kitten things as well as any other kitten   The sibling pair does have one bad habit:  they run over to the basket of toys, often up-ending it, and pick through all of the toys until they find the ones they want.  Before they are tired out, there are toys everywhere, and they never put them back!   Ideally, Winky and Blinky will be adopted together, but if not, there should be another kitten or young cat for them to bond with.  Both do well with other cats and should get along well with respectful dogs and older children.   They are now playing in our West Chester PetSmart adoption center.  Please ask to join in the fun and then offer them your lap.  Please submit a no-obligation application for a meet and greet or to adopt: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!
