Maxi is the queen of cats. She loves to play with cat toys and people. She is very mild mannered but will let you know when she wants some attention. She will cuddle up next to you in bed and maybe pounce on your hand under the covers. She loves hiding in boxes and bag. While she likes to cuddle and be pet she doesn't really like to be held. She has never hissed or swatted m, but she will try to get away. Her personality really shines. With a toddler and a baby on the way, we really want her to have a space where she can get all her love and attention.

Daisy it's a sweet, beautiful girl that was living outside of a college campus after being left behind when her former owner moved away.When we found her, she was pregnant and trying to find food and shelter, so we are glad we found her when we did.Now she is inside safe and sound, spayed, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and is negative for feline leukemia and aids.She is a very sweet girl who gets along with other cats and would make a great addition to any family.If you are interested in Daisy or any of our castaway cats, please fill at our application at castawaycatsde.com

These two beautiful, sweet girls (Mom and daughter) were living in someone's shed along with 2 other siblings. They were being fed and loved but the people could not afford to get them spayed, so we offered to help. All 4 have now been spayed, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea treated, wormed and tested for v feline leukemia and aids ( both negative). Suki is a loving, snuggly cat who must be adopted with her bonded sister, Juno. Like her sister, she loves cuddling with people, comes when you clap for her, and cooperates with nail trims when a Churu treat is involved! Suki also has a special talent: her family’s teenage daughter taught her to perch on people’s shoulders. She can be redirected, but don’t be surprised if she tries to hitch a ride! Their family is very sad to rehome them due to a family member’s cat allergy. She loves everybody, and when she's not seeking out attention, she enjoys playing and exploring, especially with her friends. She loves the crinkle tube and chasing after the little balls. She also really enjoys the wand toy! When she's done playing, she snuggles with the older cats on the windowsill. We are told she is about 9 months old, but she only weighs 4 pounds and she acts like a younger kitten. But she will likely just be a tiny perpetual kitten! She's great with cats, dogs and kids. ABOUT CHRISTMAS CHILI AND MISS KRAMPUS! Meet Christmas Chili and Miss Krampus, our pretty mamas! These two came to HAP at separate times, both strays with kittens in tow and both upset at being caged. After a few months of medication and socialization and not much progress, we decided to put the two ladies in a room together, as a last ditch effort. They immediately took to each other and have been inseperatable ever since! Now with each others support and comfort, they two have started to enjoy human attention a little more! Christmas Chili is the more outgoing of the two, she enjoys chirping and booping her human friends, once she gets used to them! Miss Krampus is more on the shy side, though she does enjoy playing with her human friends, as long as they keep their distance! *Christmas Chili and Miss Krampus both adore other cats! We don't recommend they go to a home with dogs or children.

ABOUT MARINA! Meet Marina, our handsome little dude! This shy guy was brought to HAP as a stray, so we aren't sure what his previous life looked like. Based on his timidness, we imagine it wasn't the most comfortable lifestyle. Marina is a shy little man, who will need some extra time and patience to become the snuggle bug we know he can be! *Marina gets along well with other cats and may do best in a home with a kitty friend. We don't recommend children or dogs.
