Story
The sweet siblings were born to a stray cat outside of someone's home and she knew she had to help them. She called us and brought them in and we got them spayed, neutered vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and they all are negative for feeling leukemia and AIDS. The calico is a female and her tuxedo brother is of course a male. They are both very sweet, lovable babies who we hope to adopt together. Could you take in this awesome pair and give them a lifetime of love?

Story
I love my Cali but a few things have led me to have to let her go. We rescued her as a kitten from the streets and gave her a good home with my other two cats who already lived with us. They ended up getting along fine but I believe this kitty is stressed out in our home and feeling like she has to compete with our other cats for territory. It seems my other cats intimidate her and she'd rather stay away from them. She uses her litter box just fine. I just got the news that I am 7 weeks pregnant and unfortunately I need to cut down on my animals and believe this kitty deserves a loving home with preferably no other cats in the home. She is due for an updated rabies shot. She was chipped, examined, spayed shots when we rescued her. (I have paperwork) I really wouldn't be giving her away if I wasn't pregnant but the thought of my other cats stressing her out and me being pregnant I believe this would be a good choice. I dont want her going to the spca.

Story
My mom had Lexi for 2 years and sadly she recently passed away. I have had Lexi ever since, I love her but my other cats do not get along with her. She can be shy, very sweet and sadly she hides most of the day because of them. She doesn’t have any behavior issues, doesn’t scratch furniture or bite, does extremely well with the litter box, etc. I would keep her but I’ve seen her much happier in a home without other cats. She has been around dogs too without issue. Shes around 4 or 5 years old and she does like to eat wet or dry food, she prefers to eat larger meals just twice a day or just to be free fed dry food. She’s not super anxious about eating. Shes very shy at first but she does like affection & doesn’t mind being picked up. One of her eyes weeps once or twice a week and the vets confirmed she just has an allergy

Story
This is Tabatha a young momma.  She came to foster with a single baby. Baby has found her forever home on 9/27/2025.  Now, Tabatha can look for hers.   She’s a bit cautious at first, but when she warms up, she is a love bug.  Tabatha loves her back scratches and plops down and rolls around when she’s  happy.  She still startles at fast-moving people, but she’s learning.   Tabatha loves adventures and is very inquisitive.  She will sit at the window bird watching, too.  She has no interest in the outdoors.  She would love to stay in a warm house and be pampered.    Tabatha gets along with other cats; she has not been introduced to dogs nor to young children.   Tabatha is small and is maybe a year to a year and a half old.  She is spayed and vaccinated, in need of her booster but will be all ready when the right human comes along.  Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster:  Denise P.)November 12, 2025, 11:14 am

ABOUT CHRISTMAS CHILI AND MISS KRAMPUS! Meet Christmas Chili and Miss Krampus, our pretty mamas! These two came to HAP at separate times, both strays with kittens in tow and both upset at being caged. After a few months of medication and socialization and not much progress, we decided to put the two ladies in a room together, as a last ditch effort. They immediately took to each other and have been inseperatable ever since! Now with each others support and comfort, they two have started to enjoy human attention a little more! Christmas Chili is the more outgoing of the two, she enjoys chirping and booping her human friends, once she gets used to them! Miss Krampus is more on the shy side, though she does enjoy playing with her human friends, as long as they keep their distance! *Christmas Chili and Miss Krampus both adore other cats! We don't recommend they go to a home with dogs or children.

Story
ABOUT PRINCESS! Meet Princess, our sassy tabby girl! This pretty lady was brought in to HAP as a stray, so we don't know much about her past. What we do know is that she lives up to her name! Princess is very much a princess! She demands to live a life of luxury, and who are we to give her any less? She loves yummy treats, cozy beds warmed by sunshine, and all the catnip her little paws can get a hold of! She enjoys being around people, but mostly just so they'll coo over how beautiful she is! Her love language is definitely NOT physical touch, and she holds that boundary very firm. *Princess hates other cats, so she much be the only one in a home. She warmed up to a dog in her foster home, but it took a while and much groveling on the dog's end. We don't recommend children. **If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! Story
ABOUT ELMER! Meet Elmer, our handsome orange and white boy! This gentle fella came to HAP from a partner shelter in Georgia when they no longer had space for them. This, of course, was a big change for this sweet guy, so he's been a little nervous since coming to us. But slowly and surely, he's been coming out of his shell and showing how sweet a boy he is! Elmer is a quiet boy, who enjoys snuggling under his blankies or cautiously exploring his surroundings, usually from under something! When he does warm up, he's a very sweet boy, who is surprisingly chatty! He loves to play and snuggle with other cats, but he doesn't mind playing with a human friend either! *Due to Elmer's shyness and reliance on other kittens, Elmer needs to go to a home with another cat! We don't recommend he go to dogs or young kids. **If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire!
