Story
These two beautiful, sweet girls (Mom and daughter) were living in someone's shed along with 2 other siblings. They were being fed and loved but the people could not afford to get them spayed, so we offered to help. All 4 have now been spayed, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea treated, wormed and tested for v feline leukemia and aids ( both negative). The other 2 have been adopted but Coco and Momma Mary are still available and would love to come home with you! If interested, please fill out our application at castawaycatsde.com Thank you!

Story
Willow is approximately 5 years old and came to live with us when a previous owner in the military had to relocate. Willow was spayed and had her front claws removed before coming to live with us. She can be a cuddly cat but will nip( I hate to say bite because it doesn’t hurt or break skin) because she doesn’t have nails to warn or protect herself. She tends to latch onto a person and identifies them as her person. She does well with children and dogs and previously she was with other cats which she was fine with. There is a behavioral issue regarding litter box usage as she will pee in the litter box with no issue but rarely will poop in one. We have tried to work with her but at this point she is having to be secluded to one room locked away to avoid her pooping all over. She recently had her shots updated and an overall healthy checkup. We are away a lot and she is left home so she may do well with a household that could be present with her more.

Story
My mom had Lexi for 2 years and sadly she recently passed away. I have had Lexi ever since, I love her but my other cats do not get along with her. She can be shy, very sweet and sadly she hides most of the day because of them. She doesn’t have any behavior issues, doesn’t scratch furniture or bite, does extremely well with the litter box, etc. She will meow once every now and then but is quiet almost all the time. Shes also great at night time. I would keep her but I’ve seen her much happier in a home without other cats or dogs. Shes around 4 or 5 years old and she does like to eat wet or dry food, she prefers to eat larger meals just twice a day or just to be free fed dry food. She’s not super anxious about eating. She can be very shy at first but she does like affection & doesn’t mind being picked up and will snuggle. Shes great with all humans including children! She enjoys being touched and loved on.

Story
This is Tabatha a young momma.  She came to foster with a single baby. Baby has found her forever home on 9/27/2025.  Now, Tabatha can look for hers.   She’s a bit cautious at first, but when she warms up, she is a love bug.  Tabatha loves her back scratches and plops down and rolls around when she’s  happy.  She still startles at fast-moving people, but she’s learning.   Tabatha loves adventures and is very inquisitive.  She will sit at the window bird watching, too.  She has no interest in the outdoors.  She would love to stay in a warm house and be pampered.    Tabatha gets along with other cats; she has not been introduced to dogs nor to young children.   Tabatha is small and is maybe a year to a year and a half old.  She is spayed and vaccinated, in need of her booster but will be all ready when the right human comes along.  Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster:  Denise P.)January 12, 2026, 3:10 pm

Story
Meet Camille Camille is a stunning young adult calico with a heart as beautiful as her markings. She absolutely adores people and can never get enough pets—especially neck scratches! (see video) This sweet girl thrives on human affection and would likely do well with gentle, respectful children.   Camille prefers to have her humans all to herself, so she’s looking for a home where she can be the only cat. And honestly? She’s more than happy to soak up all the love on her own.   If you’re searching for an affectionate, gentle, and truly gorgeous companion to share your life with, Camille may be the perfect match for you.  Please submit a no-obligation application for a meet and greet to adopt today: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/. January 25, 2026, 1:33 pm

Story
Briar Rose is scheduled to arrive at our Jenkintown PetSmart adoption center on Thursday, Jan. 29.  Please stop by to meet her! Come meet Briar Rose!!  She is a calico with gorgeous markings.  We are thinking she is between 3 to 5 years old.  I must say though this girl loves to play.  Her favorite is chasing her feather string toys. Most of the day Briar Rose spends sleeping in her window bed or watching out the window as life goes by outside.  She has a laid-back personality and loves being pet and brushed.  If you scratch the sweet spot just above her tail – that’s it - you’re friends forever.  Briar Rose currently lives with a few other cats in her foster home as well as an extra-large dog. Briar Rose seems to be indifferent with the other cats and cautious with her movements around the dog. She loves people and getting all the attention.  Could Briar Rose fit into your family? Briar Rose is good with: Children:  Yes, but I would suggest older children. Cats:  Maybe. Briar Rose seems to avoid the other cats in her foster home. It doesn’t seem like she is looking for any feline friends at the moment.  Dogs:  Briar Rose currently lives with an extra-large (100 lb +) dog. She seems to be cautious around the dog but non-confrontational. But I think she would be okay with a smaller dog or one that is not interested in playing with her. Briar Rose is playing with her foster family. Please submit a no-obligation application for a meet and greet or to adopt: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster: Sonia G.).January 28, 2026, 7:30 am

Story
Snoop is an incredibly sweet cat that loves to give kisses all day long! Unfortunately, I no longer can care for him but would love to find him a good home. His favorite thing to do is play; he will chase a string toy for hours if you let him! I think a home with other cats would be great for him especially, but not necessary. He does have some special needs, as he has had respiratory problems since he was a kitten. Because of this, he sneezes often, but as long as you wipe his eyes daily and add lysine or probiotics to his food, it can be controlled!
