She uses just about any type of litter box you get (top load or otherwise). She loves to lay in the sun and a screened porch would be ideal. (She is not declawed but has never scratched any screens.) Miss Kitty adores being brushed with a hairbrush and would sit for this all day long. She doesn't like to be held or carried but will go in a carrier and she comes with a medium size crate for transport. She eats small servings a several times a day to keep from food gulping and has her own automated 5 servings a day feeding dish that you fill once a day in the morning. Perfect kitty for a senior looking for a quiet, well behaved companion.

Lady bug was found in a trash bin about 8-9 years ago. My niece found her and give her to my mother. My mother cared for her until my mother moved with my wife and I. My mother passed away 3 years ago and ww have cared for Lady Bug since that time. We have recently retired and plan traveling and cannot care for the Lady Bug any longer. She is a good cat and most of the time you do not know she is even around.

Meeko is a 5 year old female who was adopted from the Lake County Animal Shelter as a kitten. She has a sweet temperament although she does not enjoy being held. She gets along well with our other cats, but our German Shepherd really stresses her out. She loves to be out on the screen porch where she can sunbathe and get a break from the dog. It breaks my heart to have to rehome her, but it would be best if she could go to a home without a dog.

We have a happy update: KitKat is now safe with foster in Orlando but still need adoptive home! URGENT! This cat needs a miracle. Grandma is moving TONIGHT. KitKat cannot go and the family has reached out to us on her behalf. This is a problem that needs solving IMMEDIATELY. Here is an excerpt from their message: "The cat is overweight (don't know her exact weight), 9 years old, female calico. We are located currently in Orlando, Florida but are willing to drive up to wherever is needed to surrender her. We are not able to take her to Arkansas. She also does have some issues controlling her bladder sometimes. We unfortunately do not have the funds to take her to the vet either, and haven't for a while." We do not want this post to generate any negativity towards the family. We all know the feelings this gives us... but none of that will help KitKat. KitKat needs a safe plan B. She will need a vet. She has been on Purina One Indoor and she loves any canned food. She is spayed and chipped. Grandma adopted her 7 years ago. The family has said that OCAS or Pet Alliance can take her in a month, but Grandma never got on waiting list so there is no time, now. I have been fostering Blalock for several weeks now and was to foster him until his owner was released from a local rehabilitation facility. The owner has since been released and has been unable to contact via phone, text or email. This cat has been abandoned. We cannot keep Blalock as we travel too much and I have to leave town again on Sunday. Blalock is a sweet, calm and loving cat. I know from experience as he has brought me five dead frogs and a bug and appears to even like belly rubs. He is a sweetheart and needs a good home! Please help!
