Meeko is a 5 year old female who was adopted from the Lake County Animal Shelter as a kitten. She has a sweet temperament although she does not enjoy being held. She gets along well with our other cats, but our German Shepherd really stresses her out. She loves to be out on the screen porch where she can sunbathe and get a break from the dog. It breaks my heart to have to rehome her, but it would be best if she could go to a home without a dog.

My grandmother recently passed away and has 2 calico cats that are around 11 years old. We prefer that they get adopted together as a pair if possible. They are a little skittish, but sweet cats. Prefer a family without kids or dogs. They would do well with other cats or on their own.

Becky is a true social butterfly! She came from an outdoor litter that suffered from severe upper respiratory infections, but she and her siblings have since been fully treated and lovingly handled to ensure the best possible care. Becky is playful, gentle, and full of love. She’s always curious about what her human friends are up to and wants to be right in the middle of the action. Becky does have weak back legs, which cause her to walk a bit differently than other cats. This does not affect her quality of life—she plays, explores, and enjoys life just like any other cat.
