Story
Please contact Julianne (jnmarrie@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Meet Opal! After raising her babies and watching them all get adopted, while she was sadly overlooked, this sweet girl is looking for her happy ending. Opal LOVES to be pet and scratched, especially around her ears/head and just above her tail. She is a shy gal, but she is always gentle and she also LOVES other cats. Her foster mom introduced her to her resident cats and she immediately approached them for nuzzles and head butts. She is FIV+, but this is truly nothing to fear. She will live a full life and, aside from being aware that she has a weaker immune system, her diagnosis does not require special medical attention. FIV is most often transmitted through a deep puncture wound from an infected cat. Therefore, cats who test positive for FIV CAN live with FIV-negative cats with minimal risk of transmission as long as they do not fight to the point of biting. For more information, please visit https://www.alleycat.org/resources/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv/. Opal is a gentle girl who loves the company of other cats and kittens, so she will be a wonderful addition in a quiet home that can give her time to open up and feel safe with them. Her adoption fee is $50 - she is spayed, microchipped, negative for FeLV, and has all of her initial vaccines. To meet Opal, please email her foster mom at: jnmarrie@gmail.com.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 25, 2025, 1:34 pm

Story
Buttons was originally a TNR project I found hanging with her raccoon family by the local dump. She was really young- maybe 4-5 months old- and incredibly skittish, but willing to trust- so I decided to spend about 2 months getting familiar with her. After a scuffle with a local older cat (and dysentery fears) I decided to capture her faster than anticipated, and with the help of Brozanski For Cats, got her into a feral trap for a vet exam the next day. A day after the vet, we discovered that she is Feline Leukemia positive- though clearly in decent health, and weve been looking for new homes since, as to not risk the resident cat. It's important to remember that feline leukemia, though scary, isn't a death sentence, and she'd do perfectly well as a single family cat, or with other FeLV positives! She is shy, as she's only been around people full time for a month, but she's been making steady progress with me, and is now a butt pat demander and a professional biscuit maker.

Story
Please contact Beth (Ottoba418@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Meet Carly.  She is one of 2 almost black striped tabbies in this litter of 5.  Her stripes and polka dot belly are so striking!!  She and her sister Cassie are almost identical. This litter came to fostercare as bottlebabies and are the friendliest, most loving group of kittens!  They are so well behaved - pretty quiet, but cuddly and playful and litterbox trained!  These kittens are now looking for their forever families.   Adoption fee is $50 and includes spay surgery, initial vaccines, rabies and microchip. We do offer BOGO as we feel 2 kittens help each other to be good kitties and they entertain one another when you're away.  So you can meet the entire litter and maybe choose 2 lucky ones to become members of your family.  As a large litter, they are definitely used to having a play companion (or 2).  Please email foster mom at ottoba418@gmail.com to meet these kitties and please share a little about yourself and where/ with whom (other pets, children) they could be living. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 1, 2025, 4:51 pm

Story
Please contact Sabine (sabine.ocas.foster@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Little Ellie came to her foster home via the local shelter - she was in pretty rough shape; thin with severe eye infection which has now healed but left her left eye looking a bit cloudy. This will probably dissolve as she grows older and does not impair her sight (or spunkiness). Coming to the shelter she had everyone believe she was a solid black kitten, but shaving her coat revealed that she is actually a black/gray tabby!  She's super affectionate and purrs constantly. She's also very fond of her toys - especially the turbo scratcher. She's now available for adoption. Her adoption fee is $50 and it includes the spay surgery, several rounds of initial vaccinations, rabies vaccine (when she's a bit older), a microchip and Feline Leukemia/FIV testing.
