Story
Well the short and simple of it is, my mom found him in a storm. He was only and still is a baby. As time went on, he grew up big and strong and was cool with my other rescue that I found. Then he started to play with my other cat at first and then my cat Benjamin started being mean to him. Also to add to my problems, where I live you can only have two pets. They sent out an ordinance that said if you had more than two, you could risk your lease agreement and lose your apartment. Sorry so long.

Story
Sassy is a 5 year young Calico born on April 30th 2020. I rescued her from my old neighborhood when she was about 7 weeks old she was alone no litter no family so I took her in. She’s very calm and loves to play sleep and hunt. Unfortunately she needs a loving new home where she can thrive and continue a long life stress free, preferably a single individual or a couple with either no children or only one. She’s never lived with any other pets so I’m not sure how that would work out. The only reason she needs a new home is because my partner and I moved in together, she’s stressed and still nervous whenever he’s around and we also have a 3 year old who is constantly running around which makes her nervous. This is a very difficult transition for me because I’ve had her since the beginning but I no longer have the same time for her as I once did and it’s affecting her.

Story
Please contact Elizabeth (eovasquez18@icloud.com) for more information about this pet.Lap cat of your dreamsPoppy (formerly Pinky) is a 3 year old angel in cat form. She is cautious at first but melts like butter the minute you pet her. She is a soft, gentle giant with a playful side, making her the perfect cat for a first time cat owner or for a family with respectful children. Poppy likes to spend her time lounging at the top of a cat tree, snuggling up next to you or picking up shifts at the biscuit factory. She would do very well with a social, friendly cat after a slow and thoughtful introduction (she plays with my boy Jupiter) or with a kitten (she may be 3 years old but she can run and jump like a kitten).    Poppy's adoption fee is $50 - she is spayed, microchipped, negative for FeLV, and has all of her initial vaccines. To meet Poppy, please email her foster mom at: eovasquez18@gmail.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 4:09 pm

Story
Please contact Cindy (cindyvanessaa@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. This is Holly! I’ve had her for just under 2 months as my foster cat, and she has absolutely flourished! I didn’t know much about her besides that she was 2 years old, came from a hoarding situation, and was unfortunately very shut down and scared. She has completely transformed into the best kitty! She loves Churus- anyone who gives her one will earn her trust. She plays with toys and occasionally gets the “zoomies”. She especially loves to sit in your lap and get neck/bootie scratches. I believe she would make such a great companion! She also has gotten along very well with my resident cat, with whom she frequently plays chase, and they snuggle together! She is very easy going, enjoys her nap/alone time, but definitely enjoys companionship as well! Her adoption fee is $50 and includes her spay surgery, initial vaccines, rabies and microchip.  To meet this sweet young lady, please email foster mom at:  cindyvanessaa@gmail.com and share a little about yourself and where/with whom (other pets, children) so that we can make the purrfect match.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 4:09 pm

Story
Adopt Gus & Jaq! These bonded brothers have been through a lot in their short lives, and they’re still two of the sweetest, most loving kitties you’ll ever meet. Gus & Jaq were born with a condition called eyelid agenesis, which means their eyelids didn’t fully develop. Without treatment, every blink could cause pain. As a result, we got them a procedure called cryoepilation to freeze the hairs that were irritating their eyes, and they healed beautifully. Because of their condition, they’ll need eye drops 2–3 times a day long term. The drops are over-the-counter, easy to give, and they’re total pros about it. Jaq had a more severe case, so he’ll need to see the eye doctor once or twice a year just to make sure everything stays healthy. We know most people will scroll past a post about two “special needs” kitties. But what these boys need is simple to manage. What they give back is so much more. They are truly extraordinary. Raised by humans since they were tiny bottle babies, they’re affectionate, playful, and endlessly trusting. They greet every visitor like a long-lost friend, climb into laps without hesitation, and purr like little engines. Gus is the ultimate snuggler. Jaq is the playful goofball who keeps everyone laughing. They also love other cats and dogs, too! If you give them a chance, they’ll bring you so much love. They are neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, flea-treated, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. The adoption fee is $110 for the pair. Email liberationcathouse@gmail.com for more info.
