Story
Hi, my name is Buttercup and I am THE "Princess Bride" from the movie! I have three brothers and we are looking for our forever home! We did have another sister but we were in such bad shape when we were finally rescued that she didn't make it. She actually died of flea anemia. We would have too if it had not been for a wonderful woman who rescued us and made sure we got the healthcare we needed! And I for one am so grateful! My brothers are all so soft hearted. I am the toughest one of the litter! Maybe I felt like I had to take care of them, so I'm still a little bit shy and apprehensive around humans. Maybe someday I'll be able to love unconditionally like they do, but right now you need to earn my trust. My brother Wesley is still available for adoption and he's shy too, but we would love to be adopted together. Please be aware our rescue's policy is that kittens be adopted in pairs when there aren't other furry pets in the home for the kitten to bond with. Story
Still just a kitten herself, Willow was a stray and was rescued one week before giving birth to six kittens! From the start, Willow has been an amazing mama. She’s protective and caring, and now that her babies are growing and she doesn’t have to do as much, she’s playing and learning with them. Willow loves to be given affection! She will follow you around when she wants it, and is quite vocal about it. She loves being pet, and her purr is strong! Willow would do best being adopted with one of her kittens. (Special adoption fee for mama+baby adoptions!!) Please be aware our rescue's policy is that kittens be adopted in pairs when there aren't other furry pets in the home for the kitten to bond with. Story
Callie is a 9 year old cat that I adopted from the county adoption center in Lubbock, Texas while in college. Callie has been living with both dogs and cats most of her life, but since moving from Texas to Florida she has had a hard time getting along with my other animals. She is currently both indoor and outdoor cat, but spent majority of her life indoors. I am looking for a home that preferably doesn't have other animals, or only has one other cat or dog. She loves humans and is very sweet with people, but gets agitated with other animals. She will do well in either an apartment or house as long as she has lots of love, and lots of things/toys to keep her mentally stimulated since she has been outdoors for the past year or so. I am needing to rehome her due to being in school while working full time, and adopting a new puppy recently. I live by myself and having so many animals has been very difficult for me both financially and mentally.

Story
Hi, I'm Papaya. I was found all by myself when I was just a few days old.  I am ready for adoption. I will have to be taken to my spay appointment on Oct. 20th, 2023 at Spay n Save in Longwood.  If you are interested in meeting me, please complete an adoption application. Upon pre-approval, someone will reach out to set up a time for you to meet me and the other kittens. Since kittens do the best with having playmates and someone to cuddle with when our people aren't around, I will have to go to a home with other cats or kittens or even a dog (who likes cats of course). Or you could adopt a second kitten from Second Chance, at a reduced adoption fee. My adoption fee listed is just for me, there is a reduced fee for two kittens. My first-year shots, spay, registered microchip, and a full set of medical records are all included in my adoption fee. ##1792944##

Story
I first got her as a kitten in 2012 from a family friend who's cat had had a litter of kittens. She's better without other animals but can manage with other cats as long as she has her own space, she absolutely cannot do dogs however. She is scared of new people at first but will warm up to them. She likes to cuddle and be pet and occasionally plays with toys. The toys I recommend are the ones with strings or that crinkles. For complete honesty's sake, she does have a problem with puking but it's mainly behavioral due to separation anxiety. Please contact me for any further information you believe has been left out.
