The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process. Hi, I'm a young cat with a spirit that needs understanding. I admit, I can be a bit moody, but isn't everyone sometimes? I'm looking for someone who knows the quirks of feline moods and loves a challenge. My ideal home would be with an experienced owner who can read my signals and give me the space when I need it, yet also provide the affection I crave on my better days. Meeko is a 5 year old female who was adopted from the Lake County Animal Shelter as a kitten. She has a sweet temperament although she does not enjoy being held. She gets along well with our other cats, but our German Shepherd really stresses her out. She loves to be out on the screen porch where she can sunbathe and get a break from the dog. It breaks my heart to have to rehome her, but it would be best if she could go to a home without a dog.

I adopted Miso in March of 2023. He is 3 years old and just the best kitty ever! He has never so much as even hissed at anyone and though he may be a Nervous Nelly at first, he does so great around people of all ages. For Miso, I just want him to go to a home where he will be loved on. His new owner should have patience as he may hide under your bed for the first few days, but he warms up soon enough. If you love cats who like to cuddle, this is the cat for you! He absolutely loves to cuddle up next to you on the couch or bed (if you let him), and he will watch tv or your phone with you. Hands down the best cat I have ever had.
