Story
Phyllis is around 7 years old (I got her in February of 2018 and they assumed she was 8-10 months). She has been my companion and snuggle buddy for over 6 years now but unfortunately my mental and financial health are at a very hard place and I can’t take care of her the way she needs. She is very cuddly and sweet but also isn’t very big on hyper things (kittens and young children) but I believe she’d be good with older/calm cats and dogs. I want the absolute best for her and unfortunately I’ve had to come to terms with that not being me. Thank you.

Story
Hey, you can call me Hadley-that’s what everyone here at the shelter calls me. I’m a young adult calico, and I’m a girl. I can definitely be sassy and maybe even a little bit spicy if you try to pick me up! I’m not shy about letting you know if you’re pushing my boundaries, but I’m usually cool. My meow may be tiny, but my fierceness is big. I can tell you that I love treats, so maybe soften me up with some of those first!    The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    May 17, 2024, 10:26 pm

Story
Hey, my name is Callie, and I'm a tabico (calico with tabby striping). I'm 5 years old and I don't know why my previous family gave me and my brothers up to the shelter. I don't like it here, but I am trying to keep positive--it helps that I have my brothers, Skoodle and Fluffy, with me. We would really like to get a home together, or even just two of us going together, but if we have to each go to different homes, we'll be okay. I do like to get pet, and if you come see me in the shelter, just take some time to pet me and talk to me, and I will probably start purring after a few minutes. I might even make biscuits! I can be a really loving girl, I just need to feel safe in a furever home that will really be furever. Story
Faile is the sweetest girl who needs a loving home. She is litter (and pellet) box trained. I've had her for 5 years (she's a pandemic baby) and took her in as a kitten from my neighbor whose cat had just had a bunch of kittens, but cannot keep her because I'm moving and cannot have pets at my new situation. She loves snuggling, playing with her toys, sleeping in sunbeams and general frolicking about. She's been in a one cat household so I do not know how she'll get along with other pets.

Story
I can't get the photo to upload right now. Sorry / Frustrating! My cat has a brother named Jack. They were litter mates. She (Chrissy) is a calico. He (Jack) is black and white. They are both beautiful. 10 years old. They were my mom's who passed away a month ago. I'm seeking more info from her vet (Suburban Veterinary Clinic / Dr. Richardson), but they are closed today. :( I know they need to have updated vaccinations. I don't know whether or not they've been spayed or neutered.... yet. Thanks, Leanne

Story
I am very shy and don't like going to adoptions.  I like my humans but don't like other cats.  I love to jump up and play with a catfish toy with my human and to snuggle in her arms.  I especially like to curl up and hide my head in her arm so she can't work.  After all someone has to insist that she take some breaks!    You can fill out an application for me at gahomelesspets.org  ##1919579##
