Calico kittens & cats in Carmel, Indiana

Found as a stray and taken in, have had in house since October, but not getting along with resident senior cat, she does get along with some cats. But, our senior cat and her are not. She is a playful cat. She will use a scratching posts and doesn’t scratch furniture. Great cat, just not getting along with the senior cat in the household, very sad not working out and want her to get the best home! She is a little shy meeting strangers and would probably be scared of a dog, at first, but unknown, as has not been around any dogs. Has also never been around small or school age children, so unknown. Has done well with teenagers She allows to be picked up and loves to snuggle occasionally.

Meet Nya! Nya is the of her litter kitty of her litter mates. She is almost 5 yrs old. She can be very timid at first and takes her time to settle but once she does she is quite active and social when she wants to be. To extremely as she enjoys her independence and space. She is very vocal too depending on the day. She was found on the side of the road with 3 of her litter mates in a box. Barely 4 wks old. Nya is beautiful and so sweet once comfortable with her surroundings. She loves all cats, dogs, and critters of all sizes. Nya is very independent and likes it that way. A home with other pets is preferred. Nya is fully vetted spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Rosie is a two year old calico, gray, white and orange, but mostly gray. Rosie is a sweet girl who loves pets, attention, people, and food. She is very vocal, especially if she notices that you have food. I recently acquired Rosie from my sister whose boyfriend is allergic, so I gladly took them in. But money is tight at the moment and I have a cat of my own, so taking care of three cats has been a bit of a struggle for me financially.

***Bonded Pair - NOT willing to separate*** My husband and I have had Harley (and her brother -Quinn- from the same litter - see the last 2 pics) since they were about 5 weeks old. She is now 5 this year. If you are looking for a cat who is very polite, she’s your girl. By that I mean she is not like her brother, she prefers to ask before she sits on your lap. You may have to pat your lap to invite her before she’ll sit on your lap. Also unlike her brother, she is not food motivated. She’s a slow eater and actually prefers wet food where her brother prefers crunchy. Her and her brother will come with a dual automatic feeder, litter genie, leftover food/treats/litter, all their toys, water bowl and 2 individual cat carriers. My husband and I are not interested in a having a rehoming or adoption fee, we just want them to go to a safe and loving home where they will get plenty of attention.

WE ARE NOT IN MUNCIE. We are in Indy. Wendy is a 3 year old calico. She is a little big. We have been fostering her for 7 months now, trying to find her forever home. She hates other animals. She will instigate attacks on our other cats if they are near her. She would do best if she is in a home where she is the only pet. She does enjoy to cuddle and sleep on you if she likes you. She likes to be in whatever room I am in. She likes cat trees and sleeping under blankets. You will most likely find her in a private spot such as under the bed or table. She does like to sit in the window. We are not sure of her shot records. She needs an experienced cat owner who has patience. I feel she feels threatened by our male cats and would feel better if she could relax alone without the presence of other animals. She enjoys being in your space and laying with you. We cannot keep her much long. Please apply for her!

Butter and her two little calicos were taken in by a nice family. The kittens were born outside and are now ready for their forever inside homes. Butterscotch is still learning how to be a happy inside cat where she is allowed to just bask in the sun and play with her toys. She likes her own food bowl and lots of yummy food! Give her lots of love and she will be a great companion!
