Story
Meet Nya! Nya is the of her litter kitty of her litter mates. She is almost 5 yrs old. She can be very timid at first and takes her time to settle but once she does she is quite active and social when she wants to be. To extremely as she enjoys her independence and space. She is very vocal too depending on the day. She was found on the side of the road with 3 of her litter mates in a box. Barely 4 wks old. Nya is beautiful and so sweet once comfortable with her surroundings. She loves all cats, dogs, and critters of all sizes. Nya is very independent and likes it that way. A home with other pets is preferred. Nya is fully vetted spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.

Story
London and Carey are truly the sweetest sister duo you'll ever meet! Prepare for smooches: their favorite thing is giving you kisses to let you know how happy they are to see you. While they show interest in whatever you're doing, they're also perfectly content to just be by you. They are very social and adapt to new people and environments easily. They love cardboard scratchers, wand toys, wet food, and catnip. With her big, beautiful eyes and fluff, Carey will immediately steal your heart. She has the best butt wiggle to pounce, and she will jump two feet in the air to grab a wand toy. She will amaze you with her athletic prowess! London is the best girl. She loves to be right by your side and will give you gentle pats on the shoulder with her paw (without extending her claws!) to let you know shed like more pets. She enjoys a cozy bed. London has digestive issues. We're still working out the exact cause, but she's doing better on Z/D food. Both girls tested positive for a cat virus in 2025 called calicivirus. They are now recovered and not suspected to be contagious toward other cats. The adoption fee for London and Carey is $150 total! Apply at https://www.pepperspalscatrescue.org/adoptfoster

Story
Hello. This is a 4 year old cat named Smores. I got her in 2022 from someone that found a stray and had kittens. She is up to date on all her shots and vaccines and is spayed. She is declawed in the front, which was not a personal decision, but as far as I am aware, it does not currently affect her. As someone who was co-owning her with my mother it was hard to make decisions on my own for her which resulted in the surgery. I am very experienced on this topic and know what could be a result of this surgery and would also need someone who is experienced in this area as well and can take care of her appropriately. Giving her away is also not a personal decision of mine but my mother’s. We have recently gotten a new cat and they don’t get along well and we will be moving soon. I will be giving her litter boxes (she prefers 2), her food bowls and stand, and her carrier along with her as well as the remaining food she may have.

Story
**Granger** or *Baby* she hasnt been around other cats but im sure with slow introduction she would be fineShe can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she's one of the sweetest, most loving cats you'll ever meet. She's been to the vet, is spayed, and has her rabies vaccineshes completely healthyshe has flea/tick medicine for the nextcpl months then will need another doseShe‘s not a fan of the carrier so she may cry or groan until let outShe does well with kids as long as they're gentle and respectful. If things get a little too loud or chaotic, she'll usually just find a quiet place to hide .She's excellent with the litter box. I've switched her litter around 5–6 times over the years, and she's adapted without any issues. She will come with extra capstar capsules i have , any food or litter i have if you want it, a cat bed.willing to drive to meet and exchange !I'm moving, and unfortunately, I can't bring her with me.

Story
Dora is a very sweet girl who is in need of her forever home. She is around 4 years old. She has a heart murmur which has so far not affected her health negatively except that she can't be spayed. For this reason, she needs a home without any intact males and can't be let outside. She's been to see the cardiologist at KNIVES in Fort Wayne, but we can no longer afford to do this. She would be ok being by herself or with other cats. She is used to being around small kids and dogs, but a quieter home would be recommended. Dora is very small for her age and loves to take frequent naps. Only rehoming due to my daughter's medical costs. She is a good kitty. Our other cat Annie is also listed. They can be adopted together or separate.

Story
Smokey is young adult cat with the sweetest personality. He loves attention and being petted. If you give him some pets, he’ll start purring almost immediately. Sometimes he’ll purr himself right to sleep. He loves to cuddle and will happily curl up beside you for a nap. He’s fully litter box trained and has done great indoors. When he’s feeling playful, his absolute favorite toy is his feather fishing pole, he’ll chase it around with so much joy. But if you ask him what he enjoys most, it’s taking a cozy nap or sitting by the window watching the world go by.The only reason we’re looking for a new home is because we’re moving and, unfortunately, won’t be able to keep him.If you’re looking for an affectionate, easygoing companion who loves cuddles, pets, and peaceful afternoons Smokey would be a great addition to your home
