Calico kittens & cats in Fishers, Indiana

I’m looking for a home for these two 5-month-old kittens, Nova and Reese. They are bonded sisters, so I would really like to find a home where they can stay together.Unfortunately, due to some personal circumstances, I’m no longer able to care for them the way they deserve. This was not an easy decision, and I feel terrible having to rehome them, but I want to make sure they go to a home where they will be loved and well cared for. I want to avoid sending to an animal shelter due to bad experience in the past. I’m hoping to find someone who can give these girls a safe, happy, and loving forever home. This is Callie and she is the first born from a litter of 5, all born at home on 5/24/26, so she is a little over 4 months. I’m rehoming because even though i love her dearly, i cannot maintain 6 cats as i still have the mother. She’s very playful, curious, extremely affectionate, and sometimes bashful. I would prefer her going to a home with smaller children who can play with her and give her lots of love. She does not have any shots, but has had no medical issues. I’m not exactly sure on breed and gender but i think she’s a female calico.

I have just lost my physical independence, and this prevents me from continuing to care for my little cats with the same attention and affection as before. I do not want them to suffer because of my physical and financial limitations, so I am looking for a loving and responsible family to take them in. He is neutered; she is not. He is afraid of the vacuum cleaner and loud noises, whereas she is not. He is afraid of water, but she isn't. He doesn't mind sleeping outside the bedroom, while she prefers to sleep inside it. He dislikes being picked up, but she doesn't mind it. Neither of them likes shredded can food; they prefer "Lil' Soups" or puree sticks, making them inexpensive to care for. They are sociable and calm; love affection and have never experienced any trauma, illness, or accidents. London and Carey are truly the sweetest sister duo you'll ever meet! Prepare for smooches: their favorite thing is giving you kisses to let you know how happy they are to see you. While they show interest in whatever you're doing, they're also perfectly content to just be by you. They are very social and adapt to new people and environments easily. They love cardboard scratchers, wand toys, wet food, and catnip. With her big, beautiful eyes and fluff, Carey will immediately steal your heart. She has the best butt wiggle to pounce, and she will jump two feet in the air to grab a wand toy. She will amaze you with her athletic prowess! London is the best girl. She loves to be right by your side and will give you gentle pats on the shoulder with her paw (without extending her claws!) to let you know shed like more pets. She enjoys a cozy bed. London has digestive issues. We're still working out the exact cause, but she's doing better on Z/D food. Both girls tested positive for a cat virus in 2025 called calicivirus. Meet Nya! Nya is the of her litter kitty of her litter mates. She is almost 5 yrs old. She can be very timid at first and takes her time to settle but once she does she is quite active and social when she wants to be. To extremely as she enjoys her independence and space. She is very vocal too depending on the day. She was found on the side of the road with 3 of her litter mates in a box. Barely 4 wks old. Nya is beautiful and so sweet once comfortable with her surroundings. She loves all cats, dogs, and critters of all sizes. Nya is very independent and likes it that way. A home with other pets is preferred. Nya is fully vetted spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Charlotte loves people, her sister, and chatting (possibly not in that order)! Charlotte is quick to "talk" and will frequently walk around the house, talking to people and animals alike and fully expects a response! Charlotte came to ARPO with her brother, Fritz, and sister, Susie. While she is a very brave girl, she would really prefer to stay with her sister. They act just like siblings-loving and snuggling on each other and then rolling around on the floor wrestling. Charlotte likes EVERYONE-people, other cats, dogs-she hasn't met anyone she doesn't like! Charlotte is spayed and microchipped, uses her liter box, and loves wet food. Charlotte also loves snuggles but is perfectly happy to nap in the middle of the floor if the urge hits, however a fleecy blanket can quickly tempt her to sleep elsewhere and start biscuit making! Lady BugBoy, do I have a story to tell the interviewer lady (IL), as soon as I get back to the shelter! Right now, I have landed in a “pot of jam” foster home! I moved in with my foster mom (FM) on December 26, so I am still getting to know her. I am 13-years, 9-months old, a smallish brown tabby, already spayed and litter box trained. I first arrived at the shelter as a three-month-old kitten. I was adopted on September 19, 2012. The weird thing is, I turned up as a stray cat on November 15, 2025. So where have I been all this time? Who knows? When I arrived the second time, I was fearful, nervous, and stressed by the unfamiliar people and places. However, since being with my FM, I have been gradually opening up to her and showing off my skills at using the litterbox without fail, accepting pets on my head, and getting scratches on my chin. FM believes I am more fearful than I am unfriendly. The secret to succeeding with me is patience and understanding. I no longer hide all the time and even follow her around, sitting at her feet and meowing for her attention. FM told the IL that I am a complete sweetheart, never hissing, swatting, or exhibiting any bad behaviors. I am very adept at grooming, especially my face, which FM says is cute! I have a healthy appetite for all the food I’m given. I especially enjoy crunchy treats when they are tossed near my feet. I have not yet shown lap-cat tendencies, but FM says it’s just a matter of time, love, and patience. Believe me, I am grateful to be back with the HSHC and in my foster home. Kitty LeeLet me begin my interview by letting you know I am a senior cat. I turned 10-years-old on May 21. My first owner gave me to my second owner about a year ago. However, when this owner’s daughter moved back home and brought along her two dogs, things began to “go south.” The dogs and I could not come to a socially acceptable relationship, and I was surrendered to the HSHC on May 31. I’ve been told I am a lovely grey and buff DSH, and I’m already spayed and litter box trained. Like most older cats, I have some arthritis, making my hips hurt. So I do not enjoy being picked up. I take a long time to adjust to change. Moving to the shelter was quite an upheaval to my system, and my initial response to those interacting with me is to hiss and avoid contact. I prefer to be the one who decides when to be social with my human. I will accept your pets and affection, but I’ll also let you know when it’s time to stop. Unlike many senior cats, I still love l playing with toys such as rubber bracelets, string toys on a wand, and anything I can chase and catch. My owner said I am very kitten-like when I play. Going to the veterinarian is not my idea of a good time. I’ve been called “spicy” when I go in for nail trims. When my owner had another person to help her, she could cut my nails herself. When the dogs moved in, my stress level shot through the roof. I think I’d be happiest to be the only four-legged family member. Or if you do have other pets, remember to give us a very gradual introduction. In addition to the toys and interactive playtime with my person, I am a big fan of sunbathing! Give me a sunny window and a soft bed, and I’ll be one happy girl! The interviewer lady (IL) learned that I need a quiet, calm environment and a slow but sure approach in making friends with me.
