Story
Hello. This is a 4 year old cat named Smores. I got her in 2022 from someone that found a stray and had kittens. She is up to date on all her shots and vaccines and is spayed. She is declawed in the front, which was not a personal decision, but as far as I am aware, it does not currently affect her. As someone who was co-owning her with my mother it was hard to make decisions on my own for her which resulted in the surgery. I am very experienced on this topic and know what could be a result of this surgery and would also need someone who is experienced in this area as well and can take care of her appropriately. Giving her away is also not a personal decision of mine but my mother’s. We have recently gotten a new cat and they don’t get along well and we will be moving soon. I will be giving her litter boxes (she prefers 2), her food bowls and stand, and her carrier along with her as well as the remaining food she may have.

Story
London and Carey are truly the sweetest sister duo you'll ever meet! Prepare for smooches: their favorite thing is giving you kisses to let you know how happy they are to see you. While they show interest in whatever you're doing, they're also perfectly content to just be by you. They are very social and adapt to new people and environments easily. They love cardboard scratchers, wand toys, wet food, and catnip. With her big, beautiful eyes and fluff, Carey will immediately steal your heart. She has the best butt wiggle to pounce, and she will jump two feet in the air to grab a wand toy. She will amaze you with her athletic prowess! London is the best girl. She loves to be right by your side and will give you gentle pats on the shoulder with her paw (without extending her claws!) to let you know shed like more pets. She enjoys a cozy bed. London has digestive issues. We're still working out the exact cause, but she's doing better on Z/D food. Both girls tested positive for a cat virus in 2025 called calicivirus. They are now recovered and not suspected to be contagious toward other cats. The adoption fee for London and Carey is $150 total! Apply at https://www.pepperspalscatrescue.org/adoptfoster

Story
Meet Nya! Nya is the of her litter kitty of her litter mates. She is almost 5 yrs old. She can be very timid at first and takes her time to settle but once she does she is quite active and social when she wants to be. To extremely as she enjoys her independence and space. She is very vocal too depending on the day. She was found on the side of the road with 3 of her litter mates in a box. Barely 4 wks old. Nya is beautiful and so sweet once comfortable with her surroundings. She loves all cats, dogs, and critters of all sizes. Nya is very independent and likes it that way. A home with other pets is preferred. Nya is fully vetted spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.

Story
Brea was found struggling to survive at 6 months old on a farm. She is a very sweet cat and loves to cuddle, but is very selective on who she likes and doesn’t like. She does not get along with young children, which is why we need to rehome her. She will get right next to the kids, but the moment they get loud or harass her she will claw them. She does not do that to older children or adults. She’s normally sweet but shy. She lives with 2 other cats inside the house, but will try to dive outside to attack any feral cats she sees. It takes her awhile to get used to other cats, and shes never been around a dog. She loves looking out windows and needs a quieter environment. It’s a possibility she may make a good barn cat as long as she is flea treated. She does like going outside and get mice, but I rarely let her out. She is 5 or 6 years old, does not play much but does like going after laser pointers. I will also give her metal litter-box to anyone who wants to take her or foster her.

Story
Sleenky is an enigma. She wants your attention. She will scream for your attention. But you have to EARN her trust. It took us over 6 months just to be able to touch her with an extendable back scratcher. Now she demands that I pet her chin, head and back every time I feed her dinner. Everywhere else is very clearly off limits, with a very firm swat. Sleenky came to us from a hoarding case where the owner died. She was an indoor-only unsocialized cat who would rather not be seen. We purchased her a cat tent, which she still loves to this day and sees as her sanctuary. The cat tent will go with her, along with some toys and the extendable back scratcher. Sleenky just wants a home she can call her own where she gets attention and a nightly can of Fancy Feast canned pate. She doesn't seem to mind other cats, but there should be NO DOGS nor CHILDREN in her future. Approximate age is 6 year old. Adoption fee = $75 Our cats are no longer in PetSmart, so please contact us at centralinfostercats@gmail.com for application and other adoption questions.

Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Licorice was originally adopted from us in May 2020. Licorice had been trapped at a feral colony feeding site. She was immediately taken for spay/neuter. She was spayed and stayed with us for extended recovery time since she was pregnant at the time of spay. That's when we found out she is not feral, but is the sweetest little shy cat! Unfortunately, Licorice was picked up by an Animal Control Officer and taken to the Humane Society with an eye injury this past summer. Thanks to her microchip, she was returned to us. We were unable to contact the adopters. Licorice's eye injury turned out not to be an injury, but Eosinophilic Keratitis, a possible symptom of Feline Herpes Virus (which 90-95% of all cats have). Licorice will need an eye drop once daily for the rest of her life to keep the eye from clouding. (We will send her with the bottle we have, and instructions to get more. Approximately $68 for 2-3 months of eye drops.) We have developed a routine with her that we give her the eye drop, then a can of cat food, warmed with hot water. She does great! Licorice should be okay with other cats as long as they don't bully her. We do not know how she would do with dogs. She is not fond of being picked up, but loves attention and talking to you. She can be temperamental and may swat at you, but then she forgives you and wants attention again. Because of this temperament, we recommend placement with older children (over 12). Licorice is currently eating Diamond Care Weight Management kibble and one can of Friskie's pate (various flavors, hot water added) daily. She's put on some weight, but should slim back down with more activity. Licorice is now 7 years old, spayed, updated vaccines, microchipped and re-tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Adoption fee = $75 Our cats are no longer in PetSmart, so please contact us at centralinfostercats@gmail.com for application and other adoption questions.

Story
Molly (and her brother Jett) were adopted from us as kittens to an elderly lady in July 2020. The lady passed away in May 2024 from Alzheimer's. Molly and Jett stayed in the house with the lady's sister (who was her caregiver). Unfortunately, the sister was NOT a cat person and I was called to pick them up on New Year's Eve 2024. Molly and Jett were unsocialized and traumatized. They had not been out of the house since a vet visit in 2022. They have been with us for a year now and love the attention they get from customers. Molly always wants attention from her human. She is loving, sweet, attentive and just looking for that person/people that will make her their one and only. She wants to be the ONLY pet because she's a little greedy in wanting all the attention for herself. She does not like other cats or even the smell of other cats on our hands and will hiss and swat. Other than that, she is the sweetest girl! She's never been around children, but should be fine with calm teen+ age kids. Molly does have a health issue. She had an operation last year for bladder stones. She must be on prescription diet urinary care food for the rest of her life. She has had no issues since surgery. Her big weakness is catnip, which she will eat! We originally thought Molly was bonded to her brother Jett, but when she had to go to foster care for a bladder stones, both cats showed many signs of being LESS stressed. So Molly is now available for adoption solo. Born March 18, 2020. (Molly comes with her cat carrier, corner hooded litter box, cat bed, water fountain and cat condo.) Adoption fee = $75 Our cats are no longer in PetSmart, so please contact us at centralinfostercats@gmail.com for application and other adoption questions.
