Story
Clark is part of a bonded pair and will NOT be adopted without Rosetta. Please do not contact us about Clark unless you are also interested in adopting Rosetta. Clark Male (neutered) Short-haired black Clark is a large short-haired black neutered male who was born feral to an abandoned chocolate point Siamese mother (adopted from us and now known as Narcissa Malfoy). [Clark does NOT have blue eyes.] We never thought Clark would domesticate, but once he was neutered, he started to settle down. He isn't a cuddler and he doesn't like kisses, but he LOVES to be pet. He is BONDED with Rosetta Halftail and we will only adopt them TOGETHER. No children under 12 (they make him nervous) and no dogs. He is great with other cats.

Story
Tantra Female (spayed) Short-haired dilute tortoiseshell ~11 1/2 years old Tantra got her name based on her behavior in carriers. She HATES carriers. It takes her several hours of “Leave ME alone” for her to calm down. She is not fond of dogs or other cats, and would not do well with small children. Tantra HATES change. She will need a patient adopter who can let her get used to a new dwelling and bond with her slowly. This will take WEEKS with Tantra, not days. She loves full body rub downs when she is feeling playful. She can be very talkative.

Story
Ghost has already lived a long, hard life. He is now looking for a comfortable home where he can just be spoiled. Ghost was a tom cat who was taken in by a nice couple that gave him shelter, food and care. He was diagnosed with FIV and heartworm. The couple contacted us when they knew Ghost would need further care and a good forever home. We worked with the vet team at IndyHumane who conducted radiographs, testing, neuter and eventually teeth cleaning and extraction. Ghost is now heartworm antigen negative, but still heartworm antibody positive. Ghost is a big guy that is not the best at grooming himself. He will need someone who can give him regular brushing. He is shy, so we want to find him a quiet home with no dogs and no small children. He does fine with other cats. Ghost is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV. He is FIV positive. He is approximately 6 years old. Adoption fee = $75

Story
Please do not send inquiries. These cats can be visited at PetSmart in Carmel/Westfield (14720 US 31N) during store business hours. Applications are available at the store. Amewlia and Pawdrey are sisters from a feral colony in Clermont. The homeowner had taken care of the colony, then people kept dumping intact cats and the neighbor didn't fix his, so the colony expanded. The homeowner had the adults scheduled to be fixed, and we took the kittens, which she had socialized from birth. WE WILL ONLY ADOPT THESE GIRLS TOGETHER - BONDED PAIR. Amewlia is a short-haired mackerel (striped) torbie female who is shy, but loves her canned food. She only lets us pet her at feeding time. Otherwise she runs away. She loves her sister and they are often cuddling and playing together. Pawdrey is a short-haired classic torbie female who loves canned food and attention. While Pawdrey will come up to you head first asking to be pet, she does NOT like to be picked up. She is very sweet. These cats have not been around dogs or small children. We insist on a cat-only household with children over 12. Amewlia and Pawdrey are spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped. Approximate date of birth is April 4, 2023. Adoption fee = $75 per feline ($150 total)

Story
Mewlius & Jennipurr and a brother and sister pair coming up on their first birthday. They are a rambunctious pair who love to explore. Toys and a cat tree with a window view are a must with this pair. They start shy, but once they bond, they will love to be up in your business getting attention. Mewlius gets small rodent ulcers in his mouth. They go away within 2 weeks. We suspect a food allergy and currently have him and his sister on Core Wellness with no fish ingredients. These cats have not been around dogs or small children. We insist on a cat-only household with children over 12. Jennipurr & Mewlius are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped. Approximate date of birth is late March 2023. Adoption fee = $75 per feline. Please email centralinfostercats@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this pair.

Story
Xander (16lbs) and Sophie (10lbs) are a pair that are looking for a new forever home either together or separately. They are around 7 years old. I don’t have any paperwork on Xan’s linage, but he is Bengal in looks, appearance and temperament. They’re both very tall, long and lanky so I don’t know Sophie’s exact lineage but she is very similar in temperament. Unfortunately I now work long hours and cannot provide them with the time and attention they need. They’re both sweet cats and I love them so much but I know that they’re unhappy and I want to do what’s best for them. Xander is on Prozac (once daily ear cream) but no other health issues for either of them. They are extremely loving but not lap cats. They’re happiest when able to sit next to you and be petted, and he loves to give head butts. Xander has a lot of stories to tell anyone that will listen (and even those that may not want to lol) and loves to show off by jumping to the highest point he can reach and racing around.

Story
I was a stray in a colony of cats. Most of them were scaredy cats, but I am not at all. I am very loving, and want to be loved and petted. I have a flea allergy, so it has been rough having to live outside. My gorgeous black and brown fur is growing back and I just love for my person to pet me and hold me. I am quite the talker and will hold an hour long conversation with you especially when you're not paying me any attention!! I hope to have a forever family who will value me as a member of the family.

Story
My name is Maggie. I was a mom to 4 beautiful baby boys who have all found their forever home. I gave birth to them outside. When they were 3 days old a nice lady came and brought us into her house. I love it inside! I use the litter box. I get along easily with other kitties and tolerate dogs well. I'm a nice cat and I LOVE other cats but I don't allow my people to pet me very often. I prefer to watch. I love to watch my foster mom work in the kitchen and around the house! I'm told my behavior will make it more difficult to find me a home. I want to go to a home with at least one other cat. I'm looking for a place I can happily live and continue to learn to trust. I just need a family with patience a big heart! Is that you?

Story
I was born at a cat collector's house. That may sound crazy, but she really is. She decided that she would let us go to a home, along with some others. I am very thankful that I was able to get out and have the opportunity to find a home. I am a sweetie. I love to play. I will play with anything that I find interesting. I love feather toys and balls that crunch. If you want to adopt me, here is a link to apply. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/POMH/Cat

Story
I came from an area where people drop off cats and kittens in the country. If you have never had a black cat before, you might be in for a treat. Black cats are not only beautiful, but we have great personalities. I am a sweet girl who is ready for a home of her own. I am playful and lots of fun. I will be a great companion for you.
