Story
Meet Your New Best Friend! This beautiful 11-month-old calico/tabby girl is the perfect mix of playful, sweet, and snuggly. She loves to play and explore, but when it’s time to wind down, she’s more than happy to curl up beside you for a good nap. She’s also an easy girl to please at mealtime — no picky eater here! Dogs: She can do well with dogs when given a proper, slow introduction. Cats: She prefers to be the only cat in the home and is looking for a family where she can have all the feline attention to herself. Fully vetted and ready for her forever home! At just 11 months old, she still has plenty of kitten playfulness but is old enough for her wonderful personality to really shine. She’s a great cat who just needs the right home where she can be loved for exactly who she is. If you’re looking for a playful companion, a nap buddy, and a beautiful girl to call your own, she may be the one you’ve been waiting for. Adopt her and give this sweet girl the forever home she deserves!   ##2828486##

Story
Meet Calimar — The Celestial Calico! Some cats simply enter your life... and some feel like they were sent from the stars. Meet Calimar, a beautiful 2-year-old calico girl who is ready to find the family she was always meant to have. With her gorgeous coloring, playful spirit, and heart full of love, Calimar is truly a little celestial treasure. Calimar is an energetic, happy girl who loves to play! Give her some toys and a cat tower, and she'll happily hop, climb, pounce, and entertain herself. But when playtime is over, she's just as ready to share her sweet and loving side with her people. She is fully vetted, spayed, and litter trained, so she's ready to leave her rescue days behind and begin her next chapter in a forever home. All this special girl needs now is someone to love her, play with her, and promise her that she's home for good. Calimar is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico but here's an extra bit of magic: her adoption fee includes transportation to anywhere in the mainland United States! Her forever family could be closer than they ever imagined. Could you be the person Calimar has been waiting for?

Story
Please contact Sandra (sandralamb@comcast.net) for more information about this pet.  Adoption Donation  $299 Located: New England (Transportation costs included to the Northeast, plz ask for more details) Age: est.  13 weeks old as of 9/9/26 Meet Callie....... Callie was born homeless behind a restaurant in Mississippi. She and her three other littermates were thankfully rescued. Callie is blind in one eye. She gets along great with other cats. She would do best in a home with another cat. We think it would make her more comfortable. She is litter box trained. She can be shy at first, but once she warms up to you she will come out of her shell. No young children as she scares easily and they would be too much for her. She loves to play with the cat wand, laser light, and anything that rolls. Callie will need someone that can be patient with her until she can trust them. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:    fohapostings@gmail.com   Please verify the location and readiness of this cat with us.  Because we save lives from various locations throughout the United States, some cats may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.   Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. ALL animals are in foster homes as we do NOT have a  shelter where you can visit. Some animals are in foster care in New England, and some are located in other states. If the initials following the animals name are a state, then that is the state where the animal is located. If initials are not a state, then those are the initials of the foster home outside of New England and you will not be able to meet the animal ahead of time. Complete our online application You will be contacted by phone or email by the foster parent  or a member of our adoption team and will have the opportunity to find out more about the animal, and ask any questions that you have to ensure the animal is a good fit for your household. If the animal is local, you can meet the animal, but you would not be able to take the dog home until you are approved to adopt.  From our end, we will check references and schedule a home visit.  If you live in an apartment, or a condo, we will need to verify permission to own the animal from your landlord or condo board. Please let your vet’s office and references know we will be contacting them. If your  references are positive, we will schedule a home visit by a volunteer. Please try to accommodate the home visit volunteer as most  have busy schedules. Delays in the visit will result in a delay in the adoption. Once you are approved, you will receive an e-mail with your  adoption contract attached. This e-mail will have details about pick up, the balance of the adoption fee that is owed, etc. Please email your signed & witnessed contract and pay your adoption fee in full, and for any animals located out of state, you will be contacted for details about transport to New England. Once you have paid your adoption fee in full and sent back your contract, you can make arrangement to pick up your animal from the foster home or from transport depending on where the animal is located. Please bring a harness, collar, ID tag and leash when you are picking up the dog unless otherwise instructed by the foster parent. Our extensive approval process is intended to ensure the best fit between our animals and adopters.
