Thank you for your interest in adopting, Rocco! Everyone who meets him, loves him! He's about 18 months old and 10 pounds. Rocco was abandoned by his human this past spring. He was left at a feral cat feeding station next to a hardware store. He meowed and went right home with us without protest. He has proven to be a wonderful cat. Since Rocco is living in a foster home, there have been other foster cats and kittens with him. He likes the girls, but also loves the male kittens. There has never been any issues between the cats or the kittens. He treats the kittens like he mothered them himself! In fact, if there was any way for you to adopt Rocco and one of his favorite kittens, that would just be remarkable!! We love him and have to ask! Rocco is litter pan trained. He has never marked. He enjoys playing with the other kittens, playing with interactive cat toys, and hanging out as king of his domain. Rocco eats canned food and dry kibble every day. On occasion, he gets dehydrated minnows and crunchy cat treats. Rocco has never been around Dogs that we are aware of. We won't send him to a home with dogs. Rocco is neutered, rabies, FVRCP, dewormed, microchip, and receives parasite prevention. He comes with all records. They will quickly play with anyone with a string toy, and will slowly approach you, until they feel confident to be petted. Once they trust you, they will come around and sleep in the same bed with you. They get along with the house cat and are getting used to a doggie, who regularly visits the foster home. As delicate as a flower, her gentle, shy spirit only makes you want to shower her with kisses. She loves rubbing against you and getting belly rubs. She is affectionate and highly intelligent. Puck is 14 years old and still going strong. We got him from a friend back in 2012 along with his sister. He and his sister used to stay upstairs and our dog downstairs, but he lost his sister recently and he wants to be downstairs with us but unfortunately we have to rehome him because our dog Rex is too aggressive with him and he's not safe with him around. He's very shy and may take a while to warm up to you, but is very affectionate once he does. He would not do well with a dog in the house unless the dog is very quiet and gentle, and would probably be ok with other cats but he's only known his sister so we're not sure. He does use the litter but will sometimes pee in the bathtub as an alternative. It would be great to know he's going directly to a loving home rather than take him to a shelter to wait for adoption.
