Story
Sage is an overall beautiful cat. Her personality is beautiful, her meow, her coat, she’s just a sweetheart. We got Sage from a coworker who happens to foster strays around her area. Sage was born within a litter from those cats. She is one years old and will be two next March. We were only planning on looking for a girl cat because we wanted to see the differences of personality because we had already had experience with boys. She loves wet food, but will tolerate hard. She loves doing her own thing, but she also loves to cuddle and talk to you. Sage is not spayed. Life has been throwing hard curves, and a lot of of them have been financial obstacles. Which has kept her in a position of not being spayed and without vaccinations. Sage has no medical issues or surprises.

Story
What's that rumble? Oh, it's Bumble! This playful boy loves to chase his ball around and be a wild cat. A rough and rowdy player, Bumble would do well with the company of another young and playful cat (for him to stalk and surprise!) or oppositely, an old, relaxed cat who won't mind his antics. Two years old and full of beans, he can't be picked up, needs his own space and will tell you, "No thank you" but far less politely. However, if you want to drag a string or feather around or throw his ball than he'll happily spend all day with you. Bumble is neutered and current on all shots, ready for his new home. If you've got room in your heart for an energetic wild-man who plays by his own rules and requires you follow them too, then take a chance on Bumble and make your appointment to meet him today. He is not the biggest fan of other cats, and does not like dogs, but he loves the attention he gets from people. Bumble is a 2-year-old neutered male For more information on Bumble, call AWS at 860-354-1350 email animalwelfare.socty@snet.net or visit our website aws-shelter.org for an application Adoption Fees for Senior cats (8yrs and up) is $50 Adult Cats $200 and Kittens under a year $250.

Story
Meet Gleyber, an almost 7-year-old handsome tabby with a heart full of love and a gentle, social personality. After spending his entire life with one family, he is now looking for a new place to call home through no fault of his own. Sadly, his family's young son has developed allergies to cats, and with the added stress of two young children in the home, they feel Gleyber would be happier in a calmer environment where he can truly thrive. Gleyber is an affectionate, friendly boy who loves being around his people. He enjoys attention, is very social, and has so much love to give. He has lived with children and does especially well with older kids who can respect his space and enjoy his sweet personality. He also gets along well with dogs and has happily shared his home with a small canine companion. While he hasn't lived with large dogs, his easygoing nature suggests he could do well with a respectful introduction. Gleyber would also be fine in a home with another cat, though he may need a little time to adjust as he settles into his new surroundings. At nearly 7 years old, Gleyber is the perfect balance of playful and laid-back. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will happily keep you company and fill your home with love, Gleyber may just be your purrfect match. His adoption fee is $225 and Gleyber is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and neutered. Gazpacho is an adorable, soft, and sensitive man with big eyes and a big heart. He has a fuzzy, grumpy face on the outside, but a gentle and compassionate personality on the inside. He may need to be shown some extra compassion and patience to begin with, but once trust is established he looks forward greatly to your companionship and will climb in your lap to receive affection. He loves head rubs and when you speak to him in a loving voice. He has shown a more reserved nature in shelter, but in the comfort of your warm home, is likely to blossom into his true self and display all of his charms and preferences once he has settled in.
