Story
What's that rumble? Oh, it's Bumble! This playful boy loves to chase his ball around and be a wild cat. A rough and rowdy player, Bumble would do well with the company of another young and playful cat (for him to stalk and surprise!) or oppositely, an old, relaxed cat who won't mind his antics. Two years old and full of beans, he can't be picked up, needs his own space and will tell you, "No thank you" but far less politely. However, if you want to drag a string or feather around or throw his ball than he'll happily spend all day with you. Bumble is neutered and current on all shots, ready for his new home. If you've got room in your heart for an energetic wild-man who plays by his own rules and requires you follow them too, then take a chance on Bumble and make your appointment to meet him today. He is not the biggest fan of other cats, and does not like dogs, but he loves the attention he gets from people. Bumble is a 2-year-old neutered male For more information on Bumble, call AWS at 860-354-1350 email animalwelfare.socty@snet.net or visit our website aws-shelter.org for an application Adoption Fees for Senior cats (8yrs and up) is $50 Adult Cats $200 and Kittens under a year $250.

Story
Meet Rosie, a beautiful 8-month-old tabby with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. This young mama was found fending for herself and her kitten, Posie, near a petroleum plant in Bethel. Rosie was just a kitten herself when she had Posie only four months ago, making her story all the more heartbreaking. Despite being so young, she showed incredible devotion and resilience, protecting and raising her baby in an environment no cat should ever endure. Through it all, she remained loving, trusting, and deeply connected to people—a true testament to her sweet nature. Rosie is talkative and affectionate, always ready to greet you with soft chirps and little conversations. She enjoys being near her people and will happily follow you around, keeping you company throughout the day. Whether you’re relaxing or going about your routine, Rosie wants to be part of it. She has a calm, nurturing presence but also a playful, youthful side that shines through. Now that her days of raising a baby are behind her, Rosie is more than ready for a home of her own where she can finally be cared for and cherished the way she deserves. She would do fine as a solo cat soaking up all the attention, or in a home with another kitty. Her easygoing and affectionate personality makes her a purrfect addition to any home. Her adoption fee is $275, and Rosie is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. Story
Meet Willow, a one-year-old tabby who was rescued from a difficult situation in Waterbury after a Good Samaritan stepped in and saved her and her two kittens. The home was overcrowded and only focused on breeding and selling cats, and Willow spent much of her early life confined with very limited access to proper food, water, or socialization. Despite that rough start, she has shown remarkable resilience. Because of her background, Willow can be a bit timid when meeting new people and may take a little time to feel comfortable in unfamiliar situations. Once she feels safe, her personality truly shines through—she becomes a gentle, affectionate love bug who enjoys attention and quiet companionship. Willow has the softest, silk-like coat and a calm, easygoing nature. She keeps her space tidy and doesn’t create much chaos, preferring a peaceful environment where she can relax and observe the world at her own pace. She would thrive in a quiet, patient home that understands the value of giving a shy cat the time she needs to blossom. Her adoption fee is $225 and Willow is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. If you're interested in this gorgeous girl, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Meet Salty, a five-month-old tabby who made his way to Connecticut all the way from Barbados, bringing a little bit of island charm with him! His name is inspired by the salty ocean air he came from—and it suits him perfectly. While he may be a bit shy at first, Salty has truly blossomed into such a sweet and loving kitten. Once he feels comfortable, he’ll happily curl up in bed with you, making himself right at home as your snuggly little companion. Salty is also full of playful kitten energy! He enjoys batting around toys, climbing his cat tower, and spending time gazing out the window, taking in the world around him. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and truly thrives with feline companionship. Because of this, Salty must go to a home with another kitty friend. He’ll make a purrfect addition to any home! His adoption fee is $275 and Salty is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and neutered. Story
Smurf is a big lover boy! He loves affection and will wander over and just lean his body against yourself to get himself some attention. His personality is very calm and he's extremely gentle in nature. This is a cat whose heart is just full of love and looking to share it with someone. He can be very tolerant of people, and would likely be a very good cat for younger children. Smurf would do well in a home with other cats, children of all ages, and possibly a cat-friendly dog. He would be an excellent companion for a senior citizen as well.To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture.
