I acquired Daizy from a neighbor who was moving away in 2009. She's approximately 16 to 17 years old. She's great with kids, just wants attention and the to lay on your lap. She's not particularly active these days, so no scratching and damaging furniture. She's been around dogs and small animals. We recently euthanized our senior dog. She doesn't have any known medical issues. Just looking for someone to care and give her the attention she needs. She's super sweet and a bit skiddish as she got older. So if, there's a commotion or just a lot of noise, she will find somewhere to hide and sleep. She needs to be brush often and enjoys it. I bathe her once a month since she's older and isn't the best at self care, especially in her midsection which appears to just be hard for her to reach. She is medium size to small cat. On December 16th She's schedule for a check up and updates on her vaccines.

Story

Chonklette needs a happy ending to her sad story. She was being fed in a NYCH complex in the Bronx... eventually one of the feeders realized she was very pregnant and asked us for help. We had no room for her but somehow, since she was friendly, a shelter agreed to take her. Their plan was to let her have her kittens and adopt Chonklette and her babies out. Unfortunately, after they took her babies away, chonklette showed some signs of aggression and was deemed unadoptable. The feeder was supposed to pick her up and put her back outside, but that person never showed up and has ghosted everyone. We knew that Chonklette is incredibly sweet and feared she would be euthanized if she wasn't taken from the shelter. So we picked her up and I have her in my apartment. We have determined that she was only aggressive in the shelter because of the other cats which she absolutely hates. She is so happy to be safe indoors. Based on her settling in so easy and how social she is, Chonklette was definitely someone's cat, but probably dumped some time ago. Chonklette is estimated to be around 5 years old. She likes a little wet food but loves her dry food and treats...making her a chonk! She will chat away when you get home from work or in the mornings but only once she knows you're awake. I'm pretty sure it's a list of all the things she would like to eat and reminding you to pet or brush her. The rest of the time she is fairly quiet. Altho she mostly lounges in a cardboard box, her random zoomies are highly entertaining, as they start and stop abruptly. She loves a catnip toy and da bird but even tho I haven't seen her play with anything else I suspect she likes to bat the crinkle ball around. If you bring this pretty girl home, Chonklette will shower you with kisses, head boops and purrs and she will happily sleep on your lap. She is fully vetted and ready to go to a foster or permanent home with absolutely no other cats or animals. She must be your one and only.

Sasha is a SUN cat because she prefers to love on cats more than humans. Sasha is our one eyed cutie. She's a very happy cat and loves to play with other cats. Humans... not so much! She does like human company and will follow her foster mom from room to room... but touching is a "no no". She loves to play and can entertain herself for hours. She's fascinated with toys that make noise. She's very entertaining. :-) If your cat would like company but would rather not share your affection, Sasha is the cat for you! Betty has a black spot on the right side and Nicole has a black spot on the left. They are mirrored images of each other! They eat, sleep and play together all the time. Daphne is an independent kitty, who loves other cats, her sister, and boys. She also is a great hunter and loves to play. Daphne isn’t huge on being held, but she will sit next to you and cuddle when you gain her trust. She loves churros, and she loves treats. Daphne is the kind of cat you give you her space and let her come to you! She does like to be brushed. In her foster home, there are a lot of cats and she gets along well with them all. Boys especially and tried to steal her sister's boyfriend. (who lets her sometimes). Daphne is always around. Even if she isn’t right beside you, she is close by. I think the perfect home for her would be with 1 or 2 cats, and more attention from her owner so she can come out of her shell
