Story
ALL our cats and dogs are in the NY area but can be adopted out of state to the purrfect furever home.  In some cases, we can help transport.  Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions  follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:)     I also wanted to share that shadow and flower are boyfriend girlfriend They are in looooove so if anyone wanted a pair they are set for it. It’s fine if they separate but they really love each other. He protects her and she feels safe with him. Both are cuddly and playful but shadow is more confident.  All kittens are adoptable in pairs only unless another age appropriate cat is in residence.  Most of our adult cats also like cat company (most fosters are multicat homes).  Please read the following article on cat food to see why no dry: www.catinfo.org Facebook:Zani's Furry Friends ZFF (weekly adoption event info posted there) Twitter: zanisff  Instagram: zanisfurryfriends   All cats are in the NY area.  Cats are spayed/neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, Rabies vaxed, and microchipped.  All are in the NY/NJ area but we will adopt out of state to the purrfect home and in some cases, we can arrange transport.  Please go to our site      https://zanisfurryfriends.org      fill out an application and return to   cats@zanisfurryfriends.org   Please note: kittens must be adopted in pairs or to households with age appropriate cat(s) to ensure proper socialization and companionship. NO exceptions! If you would prefer a solo cat, we would be happy to recommend those cats who would do best as solo cats. All our cats are tested for feline leukemia and FIV, FVRCP and Rabies vaxed and also microchipped.   Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent.  Please ask by writing us at cats@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application early Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too. Please come! And if you can't adopt, foster or volunteer, you can always donate! If you want to know about cats/dogs specifically being shown at our adoption locations, please email us info@zanisfurryfriends.org closer to the date so we know your interest and will make every effort to have that pet at the event or let you know how and where you can meet.  It is extemely helpful and speeds up adoption if the application is filled out prior to visiting us so please do that before coming to our weekend events. Our weekend locations are: Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent  Follow us on FB, Zani's Furry Friends ZFF, for latest updates. Usually we are in our foster homes so all this is a bit more stressful but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes. Please come! Story
Spotted her on my back deck July 2023. Uploaded to pawboost.com without a result to this day (no luck getting help from the local shelter either) Two choices: 1. Having a starving/sick animal living under my deck (freezing to death some months later). 2. Take her in at least for the time being. # Never climbed, or touched my screen door, since day one it appeared on my deck # Never jumps on the counter or the tables # Gentle, quiet and timid - exact opposite of high-energy/mischievous pet videos you may find on the internet

Story
Gianna is a real life gem! Such a living doll! BONDED WITH GIGI's Story Our fosters are have so many kittens are now big enough to be adopted. They are anywhere from 8 to 25 wks old so almost ALL are TOO SMALL TO GO as SOLO pets to a home UNLESS u already have a young cat in your home - so have to be paired up. They are absolutely the sweetest and simply some of the cutest and prettiest kitties ever! Gigi and Gianna - these 8-9 wk old adorable bonded sisters are CUTE CUTE CUTE omg! Gigi, a bobtail, has the cutest bunny tail that wags like a dog. While Gianna is the super model purrmaster. Both happy funny FUN and sweetest ever. They are bonded so must go together. Still way too small to be fixed at this time. Boba and Ragoon - BONDED BROS - these 11-14 wk old baby dolls are the loves of everyone's lives! So tiny so fun and so pretty - they have ALL that it takes to be your bffs forever. They are too small to be solo cats, but all set for a life in your home where they will kiss n' snuggle u non stop! Fixed and ready to go! Bonded so they CANNOT be separated. Polka and Pongo - these 20-24 wk cuties are almost old enough to go solo but why?! They really are a twin match made in heaven! Double the deliciousness and snuggles and they are so funny dorky and goofy especially when together. These babies are perfect springtime angels! These babies were all fostered in a wonderful home after they were abandoned in NY/KY at a high kill shelter and then cared for by our incredible NY and KY foster teams! They are all friendly and fun and great for any family - they seem fine with kids and should be fine with other gentle cats and with a gentle dog. They are incredibly affectionate, super snuggly, and simply the most purrfect kitties! All kittens no matter what age, do not grow up with the best behaviors without another cat to help them esp during their tween months. ADOPTERS UNDER THE AGE OF 23 MUST HAVE A PARENT OR GUARDIAN APPLY We do NOT test for hypoallergenic qualities or exact breeds as we are a rescue so also please do not ask! If you are allergic, then prepare for 20 yrs of an allergy if the cat you adopt causes issues... If you want to apply - please go to https://rnrpets.org/cat-application/ to be approved. If you have additional questions please contact us via email at rocknrescue1@gmail.com. They are all fully vetted spayed neutered per age and vaccinated tested FIV FELV neg had preventatives and microchipped. And ready for love! They are also available to adopters from out of state in the Northeast and is located here in Bedford Hills NY! Long distance adopters must pick up here sorry no shipping or delivering!

Story
Meet Ambrosia & Pepper — a bonded pair of sweet senior sisters looking for a soft place to land together. At 16 years young, Ambrosia, a stunning calico, and Pepper, a sleek black beauty, came to us after their beloved owner moved into assisted living and heartbreakingly couldn’t take them along. These girls have been together their entire lives, and that bond is everything. The girls are so snuggly—truly the definition of gentle, patient, and loving companions. If you’re looking for a lap cat or devoted co-worker that will supervise you while supplying some loving headbutts throughout the day, look no further! Ambrosia is the queen, and she absolutely knows it. She’s friendly, confident, and very vocal about what she wants—mostly pets, attention, and admiration. She’s always happy to be picked up and cuddled, and she often keeps her foster company by lounging on the desk while they work, just soaking up love. She boldly explores her surroundings and will happily remind you if you’ve stopped petting her for too long. Pepper, her sister, is the quieter half of the duo. She prefers that you come to her safe space at first, but once you do, she melts into affection—rubbing all over you, soaking up endless pets, and happily being held while purring away. She may take a moment to warm up, but when she does, she blossoms into an incredibly loving and devoted companion. Her calm, gentle presence makes her perfect for a peaceful home. These two must be adopted together—they’ve shared sixteen years side by side and truly rely on one another. Ambrosia can be a bit of a boss around other kitties (except for Pepper), so they’d do best in a home without other cats. They haven’t had experience with dogs. If you have room in your heart and home for a devoted senior pair who will reward you with love, personality, and years of companionship, Ambrosia and Pepper are ready to spend their golden years with you. Their adoption fee is $400 for the pair, and Ambrosia & Pepper are vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. We also did bloodwork on the two of them and they both came back in perfect health. They also qualify for our senior-to-senior program, so if you’re 60 years or older, you can adopt them for just $300. If you're interested in this darling duo, please fill out an application at: https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.
