In august of 2020 a friend of ours found leah on the side of the road, we guessed her age to be around 4-5weeks. We had to bottle feed and stimulate her to use the bathroom. At that point in time we had another kitten.That was already around 6months. The two cats were raised together throughout leah's life we have attempted to engage her with other animals. She is very antisocial and territorial.She gets into fights with any strange animal that comes around her.No matter how much we try to encourage positive encounter. For the first couple of years, she was food aggressive. She sprays when she is stressed. Earlier this summer, the other cat got loose and ran off and surprisingly, since that cat has no longer been here her behaviors have significantly reduced. She can be a very affectionate cat with whom she is used to.She will need someone who is a small household with no small children or other animals is someone who is going to be patient with her and allow her time to get adjusted.

Great female cat. 5 years old. She is fixed and healthy. Has all her claws and is very small. She has been great with our 2 year old his entire life until recently. My son will trap her in a corner and get scratched. That is the only reason for getting rid of her. If she is around, he is chasing her. She has also been around dogs her entire life. She hates car rides and does not like going outside. Perfect cat for anyone with children 4 and older. She is cuddly and playful but will also catch a mouse.

Bonded with Diego.  Mystique will be shy at first but once she trusts you she is very social and wants to be wherever her humans are. She doesn't like to be picked up or held but LOVES to cuddle in your lap on the couch or beside you in bed as long as you let her initiate it. She LOVES to be pet & talked to. She's very chatty she'll follow you around and carry on a conversation. She's loves toys and she plays fetch. She's very good with other friendly kitties but gets picked on by bullyish cats. Good with older kids. (young kids probably too noisy & active for her) Loves all 3 of her foster humans not just one (meaning not bonding with just 1). She is IN LOVE with foster friend cat Diego! Nellie is one of  the sweetest momma kitties ever ! She came to us as a pregnant stray with a very large belly on a small body (she was under a year old). She proceeded to have 7 - Yes, seven kittens ! She also has helped nurse 4 kittens who were born the day before hers, but lost their momma. She has been a wonderful kitty. She is very friendly and loves to be petted. She has been fostered in a home with adult cats, kittens, large breed dogs and visiting grandkids (ages 5 - 17). When the kittens finally lay down to sleep, Nellie can be found batting the crinkle or jingle balls around.  DOB: 5/05/2024 Her adoption fee includes spay surgery, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, testing for FIV & FeLV, and any medications needed while in her foster home such as flea & tick prevention, dewormer, antibiotics, etc.If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website, triadcat.org, and fill out an application. Calm and sweet girl.  Pip loves to lounge and nap.  She loves playing with her brother, Storm.  They are inseparable.  Litter trained. Pip was one of 3 born to a feral neighborhood cat. Mom moved the nest and only found one kitten. That kitten was rescued and surrendered to Happy Tails since she was only about 2 weeks old and we couldn't properly care for her.  Pip and her brother were found a couple of weeks later in the neighbors carport.  ##2558827##

Currently located un Greensboro, NC. Button is a sweet lazy girl, and can be often times be found sleeping the day away on the back of My dads chair. Shes about 3 years old, and unfortunately needs rehoming due to personal issues. Shes a great cat, but she does come with weight problems. We currently have her on a diet food recommended by the vet.
