Story
Bonded with Diego.  Mystique will be shy at first but once she trusts you she is very social and wants to be wherever her humans are. She doesn't like to be picked up or held but LOVES to cuddle in your lap on the couch or beside you in bed as long as you let her initiate it. She LOVES to be pet & talked to. She's very chatty she'll follow you around and carry on a conversation. She's loves toys and she plays fetch. She's very good with other friendly kitties but gets picked on by bullyish cats. Good with older kids. (young kids probably too noisy & active for her) Loves all 3 of her foster humans not just one (meaning not bonding with just 1). She is IN LOVE with foster friend cat Diego! They aren't inseparable but she wants to be where he is most of the time. They coo at each other & bathe & nibble on each other. Apply at www.sparklecatrescue.org ##1250836##

Story
Beautiful Caramia unfortunately tested FIV-positive just after entering our care. Despite her sweet and loving temperament, she has been kept in a kennel ever since, because she can't be around other cats. She greets the clinic staff happily every morning, and can't get enough loving head scratches. A gorgeous tortie with the cutest little smirk, we know Caramia will be the star of her forever home. Although contagion risk is minimal in a happy household with kitties who get along, her adopter can only have other cats if they are also FIV-positive, and MUST strictly enforce an indoor-only environment. FIV-positive cats are expected to live long and happy lives with proper care, but we ask any potential adopters to read up on FIV before applying for this incredible sweetheart.

Story
Bonded pair! Greetings!I am Ruby, my sissy is Iris.  We are a bonded pair of beautiful, active, curious kitties.  I am 16 months old, tall, long legged, svelte and gorgeous.  I am curious and love to explore and play with other nice kitties, or even a nice small dog is OK!  I love my food, play with feather toys, balls, and carry a small pumpkin around by the squiggly vine on its top.  It rolls and clunks around as I play and drop it in my water bowl (I learned that from my sis, Iris).  I am sweet, friendly but not yet a lap cat.  I spend a lot of time playing, exploring the house, sniffing out cobwebs and eating.  I am used to a routine and if you dont feed me when it’s dinner time I will be known to let out a meow.  My sister will cause a ruckus however, making noise like a mountain lion. We are very sweet together and our foster mom loves watching us play.  I am a bit shier than Iris, but get along with fussy hissy cats OK, I know when they are the boss and stay out of their way.I would love a nice quiet house where me and my sis could be the center of attention. If you are interested in adopting Ruby, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Approx DOB 05/07/2023 Adoption fee is $110.00 for a single kitten or $200.00 for a pair. ##1772115##

Story
I adopted my kitten back in February 2023. I had a work from home job and was home 97% of the time. This cat is very loving he lovesss attention loves playing. He is never angry, hostile, or irrational. A little over six months ago my lifestyle (job, finances, living situation) has since changed, which has caused my time at home to significantly decrease. I also closed my bedroom off at night due to allergy issues and I do not think Obi is handling it well at all, which is leading to some behavioral issues. He has since started to pee outside of the litter box, only when I leave. I have taken him to the vet to get checked for everything and they said it was all clear and he was so healthy. They advised it could be anxiety because of the situation. I have tried calming collars, supplements, more litter boxes , but i truly think it is time he goes to an owner who is at home more than I am. It pains me that my constant leaving makes him that worried.

Story
Simon has spent a full year in a shelter, no foster homes. He's a 12.5 lb teady bear, so happy and grateful to be out of "jail". Simon is FIV positive which is why he wasn't saved sooner, people hear "FIV" and think the worst. FIV is a cat-specific virus so it can't be passed to humans or dogs. It is spread between cats they can't get it from sharing food bowls, litter boxes or anything like that. Simon gets along well with other cats, he has a very laid back personality so I don't think there's any chance of him spreading the virus to a new roommate. Even though there's no cure, FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy lives indoors with proper care. This sweet boy is neutered, vaccinated and ready for adoption.

Story
Panda is 5 years old and spent 3 of those years in a shelter, with a few breaks in foster homes. He does have wobbly cat syndrome which may be why he kept being overlooked, but he’s gentle, sweet, and has a great personality. Panda is healthy and ready for his forever home. ❤️ Panda doesn't mind other cats after he gets used to them but I do think he would do best as the only pet.
