Calico kittens & cats in Mocksville, North Carolina

Patches is 6 years old, I got her from a friend in high school to be an outdoor cat, however here recently that has had to change due to her being diagnosed as a pre-diabetic earlier this year. She keeps to herself a lot but will let you know when she wants attention she has always been this way. Patches does have to be on a lower carb food. She is allowed to have treats but only a few per day. She is not on a prescription for insulin as long as her blood sugar is under control. I am looking for someone who has had experience with cats and knows when something is up and can take her to the vet when needed. Patches is very timid and shy but she will voice when it’s time to eat.

Lottie is beautiful young adult with tan, gold and black markings on a gorgeous white body! She also has an unusual dark striped tail which is very pretty! A foster for Citizens for Animal Welfare spotted her at Animal Control, and she was brought to our small rescue. It is now her turn to be adopted by a loving family. She has been examined by a vet and is a very healthy young adult cat! Lottie is negative for FIV/Leuk., has been spayed and had her vaccinations, and Rabies shot. Lottie is exceptionally friendly and loves to play and be petted. There is a dog on the premises and Lottie has shown no fear or aggression towards him. Tatum is a sweet young girl, almost 2 years old, who is easy going and social.  She is compatible with non aggressive cats.She loves attention and petting. Tatum may have hyperesthesia which is sometimes diagnosed by the symptom of a rippling effect down her back and a sudden quirky outburst of playfullness. Around 8 pounds, Tatum is a sturdy feline with a gaentle demeanor.   Her coat is pristine white with dilute grey and orange on the tail and head similar to a turkshish van.   Tatum  will be celebtrating her second birthday in December 2025 and wants to be in her own home for the holidays.  Age appropriate vaccs, spayed, microchiopped, and rabies vaccinations are completed. She is a perfect fit for most any family. Great female cat. 5 years old. She is fixed and healthy. Has all her claws and is very small. She has been great with our 2 year old his entire life until recently. My son will trap her in a corner and get scratched. That is the only reason for getting rid of her. If she is around, he is chasing her. She has also been around dogs her entire life. She hates car rides and does not like going outside. Perfect cat for anyone with children 4 and older. She is cuddly and playful but will also catch a mouse.

Annabelle is a beautiful petite calico kitty girl. We estimate she is around 5 months old. She and her sisters were rescued at a very young age and raised in family with teenagers and other pets. MAY is a special cat that needs a special adopter. Found in the Ingles’ parking lot and brought to the SCHS when she was only about two weeks old, she was very sick. Her left eye remains cloudy and she sometimes has a bout of URI that's cleared with antibiotics. We wish we knew what May had experienced before coming to us. She is an energetic girl that plays rough (and when you least expect it); she cannot go to a home with small children for this reason. She wants affection only when she initiates it. She really could use other cats in the home, but they have to be able to tolerate her outbursts. She is currently in foster care and her very-experienced foster mom can share even more information about her. The standard adoption fee is $120 cash or $125 debit/credit. Marvin is a very handsome soft gray tabby cat. We estimate him to be about 1 year old. Marvin was found as a stray. He is nervous here in the shelter and prefers to hangout in his hiding box. He is looking for a patient family or person who can give him time to adjust to his new situation.
