Story
Smokey came to HSDC with her kittens in tow about to pop. She was a wonderful Mama cat and raised all her kittens like a pro. She is now a retired mom looking for the relaxing life. She is shy but very loving. Smokey doesn't really like to be picked up but loves belly rubs. She does like to find a quiet dark place to nap during the day. Smokey has a sponsored adoption fee. You would still need to complete an adoption application on our website at hsdavie.org

Story
Pearl and Dolly's story is a touching reminder of the deep bonds that can form between pets and their families, and the heartache that can come when those bonds must be broken due to unforeseen circumstances. They were adopted from HSDC as kittens a few months ago but unfortunately a family member is now allergic. Even though their family has tried to make it work, they are getting worse. They are truly heartbroken and devastated to have to rehome them. Their adopter said, "I grew up having cats all my life and never had two cats as good as Pearl and Dolly. It saddens us to have families really try and make it work, love our animals and it breaks our heart for them when it doesn't work out so we are going to do what we can do...help to find them a new family. These two feline sisters have shared a journey from being adopted together as kittens, growing close in a loving home, and now, seeking a new family to offer them the same affection and care. Their playful spirits and unique personalities - with Pearl's leadership and Dolly's adventurous nature - make them a delightful pair for any cat lover. The fact that they are also accustomed to living harmoniously with a dog adds to their charm and adaptability. Pearl is the beautiful gray cat with the cutest pointy ears and Dolly is the gorgeous calico cat with the most adorable little face. For those considering opening their hearts and homes to these lovely cats, it's an opportunity to continue the story of Pearl and Dolly, ensuring it's filled with the same love and happiness they've always known. The commitment to adopt bonded pets is a noble one, promising double the joy and companionship. If you would like to adopt this bonded pair, please complete an adoption application on our website at hsdavie.org
