Niki is almost 7 years old. Her first family had a child that was allergic. My loved ones Alzheimers has caused some stress in our home, which is affecting Niki. I feel that Niki needs a mellow household, and perhaps someone that doesnt travel often, if at all. Niki will require brushing with a brushing glove, due to her long fur. She likes to have scratches under her chin each morning. She is NOT a lap cat. She will come to you for affection when she wants it. Niki is in good health, as I and the previous owner use(d) Banfield for regular check-ups. Niki has one eye that weeps, causing a crusty area under her eye, but the vet doesnt seem concerned. She really is a quiet girl, and has rarely gotten into mischief in our care. If we say, "no" to scratching, etc. she stops. I hope to find her a loving home that she deserves.

This tiny little 5-6 pound girl is waiting for her purrfect person. She is shy to start out with and needs a patient loving person to give her a small safe spot to acclimate in so she can become the lover girl she is when she feels safe and loved. She does great with other cats and has been around mellow dogs. She likes to have a cubby/hammock/spot to hang out and watch things from before she comes out for attention. Despite her tiny size, she has some sass when scared but that dissipates with treats and her knowing you are not going to hurt her. She is definitely worth the patience it will take to let her blossom. We couldn't all agree on a name, so we kept calling her Kitten, and it stuck. She is so sweet and full of energy. She wants to play all the time and my older cat doesn't. My older cat clearly doesn't want to have a sister. I know Kitten just wants to play, but she is stressing out my older cat. She is hissing and growling all the time, even when Kitten is just walking by. It's not a good situation. We need a new home for her. She loves to play fetch and chase (she chases and wants to be chased). Very sweet and affectionate. I picked her from someone who was moving and couldn't take her to the new apt. She is about 7 months old and has an appt to be spayed on 9/3.

Sassy: Dilute tortious shell/calico mix About 1 1/2 years old Fully vetted…spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, on flea/tick preventative, FIV/FELV negative. Not microchipped yet. Sassy and her mother were rescued from a trailer park in East Bend where there were many stray cats with many being ill. She was a bit wild but adapted to indoor life fine. She was quite a little rascal but has calmed down being a petite adult now. Sassy is very food motivated and loves to play and chase things. Once acclimated, she is quite loving, likes to be in her foster’s lap and gets along with cats and dogs she knows. She and her mother aren’t really bonded at this point, so they would do fine being separated.September 13, 2024, 5:10 pm
