Story
Beautiful Caramia unfortunately tested FIV-positive just after entering our care. Despite her sweet and loving temperament, she has been kept in a kennel ever since, because she can't be around other cats. She greets the clinic staff happily every morning, and can't get enough loving head scratches. A gorgeous tortie with the cutest little smirk, we know Caramia will be the star of her forever home. Although contagion risk is minimal in a happy household with kitties who get along, her adopter can only have other cats if they are also FIV-positive, and MUST strictly enforce an indoor-only environment. FIV-positive cats are expected to live long and happy lives with proper care, but we ask any potential adopters to read up on FIV before applying for this incredible sweetheart.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Adopted her from a shelter 10 years ago. She is a well behaved cat, but has really struggled with the addition of toddlers to our family and has bad anxiety from the kids. She has lived with other cats before but takes time to acclimate to them. Definitely does better as the lone cat. Has lived with 1 other dog for her whole life and has never had an issue, but might take a week or so to get used to a new dog. Has never been bad about knocking things over, waking us up early, etc. She asks for food and water a decent amount, but that is about the most she will do in terms of being demanding. Has always been very well behaved. Ever since the kids, we just havent given her the attention she deserves and think it is best to give her a new home. Would prefer someone that is familiar or comfortable with cats. It is a very hard decision for us to let her go, but we feel like her quality of life has gone downhill the last couple years.

This is Pam! She’s a very independent cat. Does not like being held but will find your lap. She would do much better in a home without other animals. She is experiencing stress due to our other cats.

Sunshine is named perfectly - her personality is sunshine and sweetness and warmth. This sweet girl came to us with an injured leg that seemed to just start getting better by the day. We are just checking in with her as she lets us know how she is doing. But what we know for sure is that she seems as happy as can be and would love to show you how much she loves to snuggle, play and purr.

There's no need to pussyfoot around the topic. Roseland has a few pounds to lose, but isn't that true for many of us. Roseland is a true professional cuddler. Weighted blanket? Check! Makes the bed feel not so lonely? Yep. Gives relax & take a nap vibes? Definitely. Jump on your countertops? Mmm, probably not. Energetic attacker of toys? No. There's a time in everyone's life for a kitten and then there's a time when you want a big lug of a cat to calm your nerves and tell you that everything will look better after a nap. Cool fall weather will be here before you know it. You better grab Roseland and curl up with a good book!
