Story
Meet sweet Rosie 💕 Rosie is an absolute doll who is quickly becoming a volunteer favorite. She is so incredibly gentle and sweet. She looks at you with her great big eyes and give a tiny little meow for attention. Once volunteers start petting her they have a very hard time leaving as she guilts you again with those great big eyes. Rosie came to our shelter as a stray in very rough condition. She was incredibly matted, and had ear, skin, and urinary infections. We aren’t sure if her condition was from living outside or poor care while inside a home. Rosie was recently had surgery for a bladder stone and will need to stay on a prescription diet to ward off any further stones. We believe Rosie to be a munchkin mix as she has very short widdle legs Rosie needs a nice quiet home where she can enjoy an amazing and loved life she so deserves. She would do best in a home where she can have a short walk to her necessities as her widdle legs have developed arthritis. Rosie is estimated in her senior years and has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for felv/fiv, and microchipped. Interested in meeting Rosie or any of our other kitties please contact us at cats@lvpeaceablekingdom.info or 610-432-2532 ext 6

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Update: Croissant (on the top) has come a long way since entering her current foster home! This beautiful, longhair kitty now spends a great deal of her time inside the foster building, rather than hiding outside in a dog house in the enclosed yard. She is right there inside at mealtime waiting to be served and allows her foster Mom to get much closer to her than ever before. She is not pettable and may never be, but is much more comfortable now within a reasonable proximity to people. She and her long-term companion, Leila, remain closely bonded and will do well in a quiet, traffic-safe barn home with a caring adopter.Original Post:Croissant is a very pretty and very shy kitty.  She and her buddy, Leila, have been together for a long time and must be adopted as a pair. Croissant has no interest in human interaction and needs a quiet and traffic-safe barn in which to live and find happiness!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adopting from The Cat Shack The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Meet Shayman! This beautifully marked calico is waiting for her home. Shayman loves attention, loves to be petted and will throw herself in front of you on the floor to receive pets. Shayman is "aloof" to other cats. She is in a room with others and she is fine with them but would not want another cat to pest her. She would be perfectly content to be your one and only! She is spayed, microchipped, current on Rabies and FVRCP (distemper) vaccinations, was wormed and is FeLV/FIV negative. If interested please fill out an application at 1by1catrescue.org. Story
Meet Barney the bunny. While Barney isnt actually a bunny ( shh dot tell her!) we have made her an honorary team bunny member. Barney has made it part of her daily routine to escape from our cat room and hang out in the rabbit room where she spends her afternoon rolling and lounging on the rugs. Barney also enjoys batting around toy mice and catching her string toys. Barney has quickly wiggled her way in to the volunteers hearts with her quirkiness and sassy personality. There is something about her that makes us smile and she is probably the cat with the most daily photo shares amongst our cat volunteers. Barney affection is on her terms. When she wants to cuddle she with jump on your lap and enjoy some head pats. If she doesnt want attention a pat on the hand you will get. She especially loves to wind in between your feet. Barney would do ideal in a home with no other cats; and in an adult only home. She is tidy and clean in her litter box. Barney was found abandoned so we unfortunately dont know much about her past. We estimated her in her older adult to early seniors years. She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv and microchipped. She also has had a dental and has had most of her teeth removed ( but she still requests a hard food only diet as she dislikes canned food)

Story
Meet HoneyBun! Honeybun is a recent addition to our PK cat room. One of our volunteers was conducting TNR for a colony of cats and discovered this little girl trying to survive amongst the feral cats. She decided against returning Honey Bun and took her home to give her a chance at an indoor life. Honey Bun blossomed with her new friend. Sadly the volunteer realizing her age was not suitable for such a young kitty, decided to bring her to the shelter in hopes of finding a new suitable home. Honey Bun is shy at first meeting. Once she knows she can trust she allows gentle pets and soon after will turn on the purrs. When her former caretaker visits she will instantly come running to her. And sadly watches each time she leaves. She will form a great bond with her new owner. Honey Bun adores other cats and can be found cuddling with the other gentle cats of the shelter. Honey Bun also enjoys playing with toys and zooming after laser pointers. Honey Buns ideal home would be a quiet home without hustle and bustle of little ones. We ideally would like to find her a home with another quiet/ gentle kitty that will allow her to head butt and snuggle with. Honey Bun is estimated around 1 years old. She been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for leukemia/fiv, and is microchipped. For more information on adopting HoneyBun or any of our other cats please contact us at cats@lvpeaceablekingdom.info or 610-432-2532 ext 6
