Meet Barney the bunny. While Barney isnt actually a bunny ( shh dot tell her!) we have made her an honorary team bunny member. Barney has made it part of her daily routine to escape from our cat room and hang out in the rabbit room where she spends her afternoon rolling and lounging on the rugs. Barney also enjoys batting around toy mice and catching her string toys. Barney has quickly wiggled her way in to the volunteers hearts with her quirkiness and sassy personality. There is something about her that makes us smile and she is probably the cat with the most daily photo shares amongst our cat volunteers. Barney affection is on her terms. When she wants to cuddle she with jump on your lap and enjoy some head pats. If she doesnt want attention a pat on the hand you will get. She especially loves to wind in between your feet. Barney would do ideal in a home with no other cats; and in an adult only home. She is tidy and clean in her litter box. Barney was found abandoned so we unfortunately dont know much about her past. We estimated her in her older adult to early seniors years. She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv and microchipped. She also has had a dental and has had most of her teeth removed ( but she still requests a hard food only diet as she dislikes canned food)

Meet Angel 🪽 This cutie patootie is one of our newest shelter residents. She was found as a stray, and although we hoped her family would come for her, sadly no one ever did. Angel is as sweet as they come; gentle, calm, and endlessly affectionate. She spends her days curled up in her cozy little lobster bed, patiently waiting for a volunteer to walk by so she can reach out for some love and cuddles. Her name came from a special detail…a volunteer noticed the most beautiful “angel wing” pattern in her fur, like a little mark of love she carries with her 💕 Angel has been spayed, vaccinated, tested for leukemia/fiv, and microchipped.
