Story
This Purrrr machine is about 2 or 3 years old, we are not exactly sure. He is the definition of a loving cat, he will rub up against you, request pets, meow when he wants attention. He got his first round of tests/vaccines (leukemia, AIDS, and distemper, de-wormer, rabies) and was neutered by Peaceable Kingdom in the Lehigh valley. The reason I am rehoming is because he was supposed to just be fostered and that fell through, and I am not able to take care of so many fosters at the same time. No known medical issues, and his behavior is typically excellent. Great with kids and other cats, but we do not have dogs so that is unknown. All in all, he is a great cat. Sad to let him go but he will do well, I am sure of it.

Story
Nikko is an exceptionally handsome tabby boy with a big personality. He is a very friendly kitty who enjoys spending time with his people and seems to like dogs. Nikko thrives on being petted and is fine with being held. As with most kitties he enjoys playtime. Foil balls, catnip toys and the turbo scratcher are a few of his favorites. Nikko is a social boy who adjusts quickly to new people and places. Nikko tends to be a bit bossy with the other cats especially around meal time and lets them know by swatting at them. We feel he would be happiest as an only cat or with one other cat who will respect his space. We also feel he will do well with dogs with proper introduction. Nikko cannot wait to have a family to call his own! Nikko is about 2 years old, ( as of 3/1/25), neutered, up to date on vaccinations, negative for Felv and positive FIV.

Story
I have 2 male cats that are 1 year and 7 months old. They are recently neutered and updated on all shots and are in need of a home! I would like to try and keep them together as they are brothers and bonded! They are the most cuddly loving cats. Nothing is wrong with them! I moved into a new home and my cat had a big litter. I could not bring 7 cats into the new home! I only want them taken together! They are great with babies and children. They seem to hide when a dog is around!

Story
Snuggles, (aka Wittle, because she was so little when we rescued her), also known as Baby Girl (which she loves), came to us while nursing kittens. At the time she was only approx, 7 months old. She found shelter in a fox or groundhog den in the ground under boulders in the woods and would go there after eating. When she finally let us trap her, she was finishing nursing kittens according to the vet, and it became apparent that the kittens drowned during the torrential rainstorms here in New Jersey in July, 2023. We had her spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FELV/FIV, dewormed, she did not have ear mites or fleas, and she is microchipped. Snuggles LOVES to be cuddled in her cat bed and kissed all over and even gives us her belly! She is cross-eyed and does not seem to jump high, but otherwise does not seem to have any visual impairments. She loves the laser light, and for us to dangle ropes and make them move on the ground like they are snakes. Snuggles is elusive but when she gets to know you, she just wants to sit on your lap and snuggle. She currently lives most of the day in her cage because she does not like other cats, therefore she should be the only cat in the home. She comes up to you for petting and fusses when you pick her up but then settles quickly. She is a quiet, calm cat who loves to search for mice and is extremely gentle. Snuggles would be a great kitty to snuggle in a bed with a person and would be a good kitty for someone who works from home or is home most of the day. She is gentle and would be fine with a responsible child but we must give her time to get used to being held. If you are interested in Snuggles, please contact Communities Altering The Strays (CATS), 908-453-0082. Thank you!

Story
Frankie is a charmer! Only 5 years old and 16 lbs of muscle! Frankie is an affectionate love-bug and he will adore you! He is extremely affectionate, loves to be picked up and held like a baby. He will fall asleep in your lap and will probably want to be your bed partner! He loves kisses and belly rubs and is great with the litter box. He is neutered, vaccinated, FELV negative, ears cleaned, no fleas, was dewormed, and also microchipped. Because Frankie loves a good deal of attention, we feel he should be the only cat in the home. He seems to be nervous around other cats as he must have been tormented by other cats when he was abandoned. If you would like to learn more about this super handsome guy, please call 908-453-0082 Communities Altering The Strays (CATS) You can also watch his video on our Facebook page.

Story
Meet Barney the bunny. While Barney isnt actually a bunny ( shh dot tell her!) we have made her an honorary team bunny member. Barney has made it part of her daily routine to escape from our cat room and hang out in the rabbit room where she spends her afternoon rolling and lounging on the rugs. Barney also enjoys batting around toy mice and catching her string toys. Barney has quickly wiggled her way in to the volunteers hearts with her quirkiness and sassy personality. There is something about her that makes us smile and she is probably the cat with the most daily photo shares amongst our cat volunteers. Barney affection is on her terms. When she wants to cuddle she with jump on your lap and enjoy some head pats. If she doesnt want attention a pat on the hand you will get. She especially loves to wind in between your feet. Barney would do ideal in a home with no other cats; and in an adult only home. She is tidy and clean in her litter box. Barney was found abandoned so we unfortunately dont know much about her past. We estimated her in her older adult to early seniors years. She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv and microchipped. She also has had a dental and has had most of her teeth removed ( but she still requests a hard food only diet as she dislikes canned food)

Story
Meet HoneyBun! Honeybun is a recent addition to our PK cat room. One of our volunteers was conducting TNR for a colony of cats and discovered this little girl trying to survive amongst the feral cats. She decided against returning Honey Bun and took her home to give her a chance at an indoor life. Honey Bun blossomed with her new friend. Sadly the volunteer realizing her age was not suitable for such a young kitty, decided to bring her to the shelter in hopes of finding a new suitable home. Honey Bun is shy at first meeting. Once she knows she can trust she allows gentle pets and soon after will turn on the purrs. When her former caretaker visits she will instantly come running to her. And sadly watches each time she leaves. She will form a great bond with her new owner. Honey Bun adores other cats and can be found cuddling with the other gentle cats of the shelter. Honey Bun also enjoys playing with toys and zooming after laser pointers. Honey Buns ideal home would be a quiet home without hustle and bustle of little ones. We ideally would like to find her a home with another quiet/ gentle kitty that will allow her to head butt and snuggle with. Honey Bun is estimated around 1 years old. She been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for leukemia/fiv, and is microchipped. For more information on adopting HoneyBun or any of our other cats please contact us at cats@lvpeaceablekingdom.info or 610-432-2532 ext 6
