Story
Zeus is a strikingly handsome Cane Corso, possessing all the power, loyalty, and intelligence reknown to his majestic breed. Endowed with gaurdian instinct, Zeus is naturally cautious with initial introductions. But once trust is established, he shows a surprisingly sweet wiggle-butt happiness and puppy-like eagerness for connection. Zeus enjoys going for casual sniffy walks, is easy on leash, and has shown to get along with other dogs too. Previous handling experience with Cane Corso or other guardian breeds is advised. They require: - A structured home - Clear leadership - Firm (but fair) boundaries - Consistency every single day - An owner who understands canine behavior (not just “loves dogs”) -An owner who knows how to anticipate and manage their protective instinct

Story
Say hello to Tinkerbell - this sweet Cane Corso girl, is guessed to be just under 2 yrs old, and from California looking to start a new life in Colorado! She's a little shy at first meeting, but bravely warms to calm and gentle understanding of her special breed. Once she knows you, she enjoys attention and getting out for sniffy walks. Tinkerbell's eyesight is currently obstructed by "cherry eye" in both eyes - a condition that can be surgically corrected (and whose cost will be covered by Big Bones... (currently scheduled for early March). She's waiting in Windsor for her hero... is it you? Previous handling experience with Cane Corso or other guardian breeds is advised. Story
Mae is full of life and affection. She loves being around her people and brings a joyful, playful spirit wherever she goes. If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you active and make every day a little more fun, Mae is your girl. At just a year old, Mae is still learning her manners. She can be a bit excitable and doesn’t always remember her “polite” behavior, but the good news is she’s a very fast learner. With a firm, confident voice and consistent guidance, she listens well and responds positively. She would truly thrive with continued training she’s smart, eager, and ready to grow into her best self. Mae does best with structure and routine. Clear expectations and daily exercise will help her feel secure and balanced. Because she has lots of energy, she’s looking for an active home that can provide regular walks, playtime, and mental stimulation. With patience, consistency, and plenty of love, Mae will blossom into an incredibly loyal and fun companion. If you’re ready for an energetic, affectionate pup who will keep you on your toes and fill your home with happiness, Mae is ready to meet you! Medical Consideration explained: Mae has a prolapse of the 3rd eyelid gland commonly known as cherry eye. Our veterinary team will perform corrective surgery at the time of her spay.

Story
Lollie is the definition of a gentle soul. This low-energy, well-behaved girl is looking for a loving home where she can relax, soak up the sunshine, and be your loyal companion. If you’re searching for a calm, steady presence to share your days with, Lollie might be your perfect match. Lollie is fully potty trained and doing great with her crate training. She has lovely house manners and settles down beautifully, whether she’s lounging by your side on the couch or quietly relaxing nearby. She’s very “go with the flow” — happy to match your pace and content just being part of your world. She absolutely adores pets and affection (she’s truly a lover!), but she’s also wonderfully independent. If you’re working in another room, she’s perfectly happy to nap close by without needing constant attention. That balance makes her an easy addition to many types of households. One of her favorite hobbies? Sunbathing! Give her a sunny patch of floor or a warm backyard spot and she’ll happily stretch out and soak it all in. She also loves her toys and enjoys gentle playtime, making her both sweet and quietly fun. Lollie has had some exposure to cats and has done well, showing her naturally calm demeanor. She hasn’t had much exposure to other dogs yet, so slow and proper introductions would be recommended if there are canine siblings in the home. Why you’ll love Lollie: • Low energy and easygoing • Well-behaved with great house manners • Potty trained and progressing with crate training • Loves toys and gentle play • Professional-level sunbather • Affectionate but not clingy • Some positive cat exposure • Calm, “go with the flow” personality Lollie would thrive in a home looking for a steady, loving companion rather than a high-energy adventure buddy. She’s the kind of dog who makes a house feel peaceful, warm, and complete. If you’re ready for a sweet, mellow best friend who will love you deeply and bring calm joy to your life, Lollie is waiting to meet you. Lollie is a 3-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $250 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Lollie is also tested with other dogs, children, and kennel trained. She is working on potty training in foster and is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). *We will not be hosting adoption events on Saturday, February 7 or 14. Instead, we are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applications February 2-15.* For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption!
