Story
We got Mufasa from a credible breeder in our state. He's a beautiful dog, looking to rehome after having a child and not being able to handle two cane corsos. We already have one. He is a velcro dog, loves being in the same space as his owner. Very playful, he loves his toys. He is a confident dog but he is used to rough play with our other corso so bigger dogs are preferred but if you have smaller dogs, a responsible owner that can train him to understand the dogs size is important. Someone who knows cane corsos is also preferred since they are very big. He needs moderate excersise tends to get tired fast. A backyard with grass is a must.He is crate trained if leaving the house. Potty trained. He doesnt bark a lot, usually only if he hears a noise outside and goes into protective mode. If you love corsos he is a wonderful dog.

Story
Hello! My name is Luna and I am a shy but sweet girl once I warm up. I will need a quiet home without young kiddos to settle into. I have been a little shy meeting other dogs so I will do best with a calmer dog. I would love to meet you!

Story
Zoey is a sweet, gentle girl who takes a little time to trust new people. She has a timid and cautious personality, so she’ll do best with someone who understands that confidence can’t be rushed. Once she feels safe, her loving and loyal nature begins to shine. She is looking for a calm, patient home with an experienced owner who can provide gentle guidance, consistency, and plenty of reassurance. Loud or chaotic environments are likely to overwhelm her, so a quieter home would be ideal. This is a heartbreaking decision, but our priority is finding the right home where Zoey can build confidence and feel secure. She isn’t a “fixer-upper”—she simply needs someone willing to let her move at her own pace and celebrate the small victories along the way. If you’re experienced with shy or timid dogs and are looking for a loyal companion to earn your trust one day at a time, Zoey may be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
Say hello to Tinkerbell - this sweet Cane Corso girl is estimated to be about 2-3 yrs old and originally came from California to start a new life in Colorado. She's naturally suspicious of strangers and doesn't always shine at first meeting, but warms up to calm and gentle understanding of her special breed. Once she knows you, she enjoys attention and getting out for sniffy walks. She would do best as the only pet in the home, or perhaps a particular submissive male. And just given her size and strength, it would also be best to have a calm and stable home without small children (older kids is OK). Tinkerbell recently had corrective surgery for "cherry eye" in both eyes, but will need another repair on them (this cost will be covered by Big Bones). Sadly, due to the stressful environment of the shelter, Tink's first cherry eye surgery didn't hold, but once she is adopted and in a calm environment in a home, Big Bones will have her cherry eye repair done again. It should have a much more successful outcome, and she will be thrilled to be able to have good visibility again! She would REALLY love to have a home of her very own and is ready to start the next chapter in life with her hero. Is it you? Previous handling experience with Cane Corso or other guardian breeds is advised. They require: - A structured home - Clear leadership - Firm (but fair) boundaries - Consistency every single day - An owner who understands canine behavior (not just “loves dogs”) -An owner who knows how to anticipate and manage their protective instinct

Story
My pet has been with my family since a puppy but the first people to raise him were really abusive and treated him the worst, until he was about 5 then my mom had him but could not fully give him attention due to work so he never got the full training he needed and at about a little after that i took him, i never hit him and did my best to train him but i have kids on the way and he is still a certain type of reaction that i cant risk all that to say he is house trained he doesn't go potty in the house but when he gets excited he tinkles, he's LITERALLY the best boy dog ever and is so loving and has gotten so so much better since i've had him but he is still reactive to other dogs and he has slight moments of aggression but not often at all he is 7 years old now and deserves someone who has the time and full effort for him he is the sweetest but has some tinks which makes him a dog you have to work with, This is panther thank you for reading
