Story
Say hello to Tinkerbell - this sweet Cane Corso girl, is guessed to be just under 2 yrs old, and from California looking to start a new life in Colorado! She's a little shy at first meeting, but bravely warms to calm and gentle understanding of her special breed. Once she knows you, she enjoys attention and getting out for sniffy walks. Tinkerbell's eyesight is currently obstructed by "cherry eye" in both eyes - a condition that can be surgically corrected (and whose cost will be covered by Big Bones... (currently scheduled for early March). She's waiting in Windsor for her hero... is it you? Previous handling experience with Cane Corso or other guardian breeds is advised. They require: - A structured home - Clear leadership - Firm (but fair) boundaries - Consistency every single day - An owner who understands canine behavior (not just “loves dogs”) -An owner who knows how to anticipate and manage their protective instinct

Story
Vanna is a big goofy sweet girl, she loves people and kids and is very gentle. she is a bit of a dominant female but she has gotten along great with most dogs, we wouldn't put in a home with a dog under 30 pounds just because of her size though. Not cat tested. She is house trained and crate trained. She is great on the leash, she is decent off leash as well. She just wants a lot of love and pets and a family to call her own.

Story
Zizu was abandoned in a dump in Mexico & lost an eye to untreated infection. We drove her back to CO to give her a better chance at finding a loving home. We love her but our grumpy old man dog doesn't, so she's not a good fit for us. She is gentle, affectionate, mostly quiet, & a bit timid until comfortable with you; then her goofy side comes out. She likes playtime outside and/or walks a couple times per day, but is otherwise mellow. With other dogs, she is very playful and submissive; was unreactive to cats & chickens when seeing them at a distance. When introduced to kids she was very polite; she would probably do great with them, but due to no prolonged interactions, we can't say for sure. Zizu is crate trained & largely housetrained (1 accident in 3 wks with us). She knows Sit, is pretty good walking on leash, & is treat-motivated & eager to please, so easy to train further. Loves the car! Adoption fee will go to the Mexican clinic that provided her free spay & vaccines.

Story
Mae is full of life and affection. She loves being around her people and brings a joyful, playful spirit wherever she goes. If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you active and make every day a little more fun, Mae is your girl. At just a year old, Mae is still learning her manners. She can be a bit excitable and doesn’t always remember her “polite” behavior, but the good news is she’s a very fast learner. With a firm, confident voice and consistent guidance, she listens well and responds positively. She would truly thrive with continued training she’s smart, eager, and ready to grow into her best self. Mae does best with structure and routine. Clear expectations and daily exercise will help her feel secure and balanced. Because she has lots of energy, she’s looking for an active home that can provide regular walks, playtime, and mental stimulation. With patience, consistency, and plenty of love, Mae will blossom into an incredibly loyal and fun companion. If you’re ready for an energetic, affectionate pup who will keep you on your toes and fill your home with happiness, Mae is ready to meet you! Medical Consideration explained: Mae has a prolapse of the 3rd eyelid gland commonly known as cherry eye. Our veterinary team will perform corrective surgery at the time of her spay.
