Hi! I`m Bonnie and I`m a shy lady looking for a quiet home where I can be the only dog. I will need a patient and loving home who can teach me to live inside and walk on leash so I can have fun going on adventures. I have a good history with kids and will do best in a home with older kids. I can`t wait to meet you!

Story
Say hello to Tinkerbell - this sweet Cane Corso girl is estimated to be about 2-3 yrs old and originally came from California to start a new life in Colorado. She's naturally suspicious of strangers and doesn't always shine at first meeting, but warms up to calm and gentle understanding of her special breed. Once she knows you, she enjoys attention and getting out for sniffy walks. She would do best as the only pet in the home. And just given her size and strength, it would also be best to have a calm and stable home without small children (older kids is OK). Tinkerbell recently had corrective surgery for "cherry eye" in both eyes, but will need another repair on them (this cost will be covered by Big Bones). Sadly, due to the stressful environment of the shelter, Tink's first cherry eye surgery didn't hold, but once she is adopted and in a calm environment in a home, Big Bones will have her cherry eye repair done again. It should have a much more successful outcome, and she will be thrilled to be able to have good visibility again! Sadly she just hit 113 days in our rescue and would REALLY love and benefit to have a home of her very own! She is ready to start the next chapter in life with her hero. Is it you? Previous handling experience with Cane Corso or other guardian breeds is advised. They require: - A structured home - Clear leadership - Firm (but fair) boundaries - Consistency every single day - An owner who understands canine behavior (not just “loves dogs”) -An owner who knows how to anticipate and manage their protective instinct

Story
Meet Terra, a sweet 7-year-old Cane Corso with a gentle heart and a quiet spirit. While we don't know much about her past, Terra has shown herself to be a softly fearful girl in the shelter environment and is still learning that the world can be a safe place. She would thrive in a patient, understanding home that is willing to move at her pace and give her the time she needs to build trust and confidence. As she begins to feel secure, we believe Terra's loving personality will continue to shine. If you have room in your heart for a deserving dog who just needs a chance, Terra may be the perfect companion for you. She is recommended for a family with older or no children at this time. Primary Color: Black Brindle Secondary Color: White Weight: 84 Age: 7yrs 0mths 1wks
