Story
NEEDS TO BE REHOMED WITH ZARRO(male 5yrs cane corso) Stella (F, Fixed, ICCF, dob: 9/3/20) Stella is basically a teddy bear trapped in a dogs body, She’s a lover girl and can never get enough attention. I got stella right before her second birthday in 2022 out of detroit. She didn’t know any commands, but She is a people pleaser which is why she was so easy to train. She is amazing with people and children. She is good with other dogs as well! She is alpha though and has been in another fight with a female dog I use to have (when she was in heat 2023). She’s had two litters one in 2022 one in 2023. I recently got her fixed in january as i didn’t want her to have any more litters. She was an amazing mom to her pups and even raised other litter as her own. She has a very sweet temperament and the best personality. She is not destructive if she has toys to play with. She’s never been destructive to any furniture or beds or anything like that. She currently is on Kirkland brand kibble.

Story
Please Read entire post before contacting: This male needs to be rehomed with my female Stella.. she is also a corso and 5 yrs old Zarro (Black, intact, ICCF, dob: 6/18/20) Zarro is from BR, LA. I bought him at 8 weeks old. He is amazing with people and kids of all ages including babies, He is not good with other dogs as he was attacked at a dog park at 5 months old and has fear based aggression. I’ve trained him since the moment I got him and knows a lot of commands but temperament wise he is very hard headed. He needs a strong leader to correct him. He has never been destructive a day in his life. He will never use the bathroom in the house. Zarro has a very strict diet as he is allergic to ALOT of foods and ingredients in dog food. He absolutely cannot have dog food. he is on a raw diet which contains turkey, pork, and beef products. His Food costs come out to be around 300-400$ a month, so please take this into consideration. Please Look at Stella’s profile as well

Meet Zaza, an 11-month-old Cane Corso mix with a zest for life! This energetic and active young pup is always ready for an adventure and would thrive in a home that can match her enthusiasm. She’s still learning the ropes, so a family with older children who can help her continue her training and give her plenty of playtime would be ideal. She has met a couple dogs at the shelter and enjoyed play time. If you’re looking for a fun, lively companion to keep you on your toes, Zaza might be your perfect match! What I Need In a Home:* Older children recommended

Story
Meet Ahsoka! Ahsoka is a resilient and affectionate young pup who came to us after being diagnosed with puppy strangles (juvenile cellulitis), a rare autoimmune condition that causes swelling, sores, and hair loss around the face and neck. With early medical intervention and lots of TLC, Ahsoka is already responding well to treatment and showing her playful, loving personality. Despite her rough start, Ahsoka is a social butterfly! She’s lived happily with large and small dogs, cats, and children, making her a great fit for a variety of households. Like any young pup, Ahsoka is still learning the ropes and will benefit from age-appropriate training—but she’s incredibly responsive and treat-motivated, making her a joy to work with. Ahsoka is sponsored by our friends at The Happy Beast, and as part of her adoption, her new family will receive a complimentary nutrition consultation to help her continue to thrive. If you're looking for a loyal companion who’s already overcome so much with courage and charm, Ahsoka may be your perfect match!

Story
This pup was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. Meet and greets are by appointment only.  An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time.  When we do, it will be updated here.  This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. Dogs adopted with our rescue come with FREE training from #GoodPup to help you build strong bonds from the start! If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.  While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.   More questions?  Read our FAQs here: https://4p4l.org/faqs/  Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.  A new study has concluded that (in layman's terms), breed assumption is NOT indicative of behavior in mixed breed dogs.  Therefore, if a dog looks presumably to be a German Shepherd breed, one cannot assume the dog will have a high prey drive.  From the study: "Although many physical traits were associated with breeds, behavior was much more variable among individual dogs. In general, physical trait heritability was a greater predictor of breed but was not necessarily a predictor of breed ancestry in mutts. Among behavioral traits, biddability—how well dogs respond to human direction—was the most heritable by breed but varied significantly among individual dogs. Thus, dog breed is generally a poor predictor of individual behavior and should not be used to inform decisions relating to selection of a pet dog" - https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.abk0639 ##2422191##

Story
Rylee is a sweet really big boy looking to finally find his forever home. He will be your best friend! Please - someone who loves big dogs give him a chance. He is a 3 year old playful guy - he loves walks and toys and will fetch a ball all day long or lay down next to you. Rylee just wants to be with his humans and will follow you everywhere. He grew up with kids, but is such a large boy it might be best if kids are grade school age. I have walked this sweet boy off leash - he is smart, follows commands and is protective of his people. He currently lives with another big dog, and gets along with cats. He just needs someone who is going to love him forever. Please contact me if you are that person. This dog has a found a very special place in my heart, and I am trying everything I can to to find him the good home he deserves. Thank you!!
