If you're looking for a loyal companion who wants to be wherever you are, Denali is ready to apply for the position of your new favorite shadow!
Despite her impressive looks, Denali is a low-energy, laid-back sweetheart who would much rather soak up affection from her favorite humans than spend her days bouncing off the walls. She's wonderful with kids, good with other dogs, and even did well meeting a small dog! She prefers calmer canine companions who appreciate her easygoing lifestyle and isn't afraid to politely remind overly enthusiastic dogs that not everyone wants to party 24/7!
Denali is also a lovely lady on leash, does great in her kennel, and is mostly housetrained according to her previous owner. She's got the looks, the manners, and the personality to make someone an absolutely wonderful companion!
Now, Denali does have one little request for her future home: no cats or chickens, please! Those feathered and feline friends are just a little TOO exciting for this girl, so she'd be happiest in a home without either. Give her loving humans, respectful doggy friends, and a cozy place to relax, and she'll be one happy camper!
This beautiful girl is ready to kiss shelter life goodbye and start a brand-new chapter in Colorado!
They were rescued from a shelter in New Mexico.
Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events!
We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently.
Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by using the link in their approval email. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog.
If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded.
Adoption fees are non refundable once a pet is taken home.
Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.
The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up in Colorado, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances delaying pick up.
Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.
